  1. We were a group of 9 total and all used messaging through the app. The oldest phone was an iPhone 12.
  2. I was on Equinox earlier this month and did get notifications on my iPhone, when we used the messaging through the app. We found it worked well😊
  3. You can buy magnetic hooks so you can hang things up on the wall.
  4. Not sure about that ship specifically. My husband has used the Peloton bikes on Equinox and he said they had the clips and the straps, so you could use regular shoes if needed. Enjoy the cruise!
  5. We are also passholders who live in Orlando. Not only have the prices gone up, but we get a lot less being APs than we did before Covid! So you’re right….costs are going up everywhere, and we are getting less than we used to.
  6. There can be a lot of negativity on here, but I try not to read too much into it. The ship is very clean and well maintained, the crew members we interacted with were friendly and welcoming (several going above and beyond to connect with us and make us feel special), and the food and service was excellent! We were a group of 9 for this most recent one and had such a great time. I’m sure you will have the same great experience! Enjoy!!
  7. I noticed a special on Equinox this past week that was buy one hour of internet, get two hours free. Also, usually part way through the cruise, they’ll offer the wifi packages 40% off.
  8. I was on this same sailing with you and I agree- it was a great one! I’m a big fan of Equinox 🤩
  9. We are on Equinox now! It’ll vary with each sailing. This cruise has had a few of the in house production shows, and two outside performances- Boy Band Evolution and a female rock singer. There’s always lots of live music offered, as well as silent discos and late night club offerings.
  10. You’re welcome! I wouldn’t stress about it. I’ve found them to be very accommodating. We have select dining in the MDR and at dinner the first night, one of the managers asked if we wanted the same table at the same time for all 9 of us for the remaining nights. We said yes and he set it up right then. You’ll have a great time!
  11. We are a group on 9 currently on Equinox. They’ve been easily able to accommodate us both in the MDR and specialty dining, so that all of us can sit together. We arranged it once we were on board, right after the muster drill.
  12. Thanks for the review! We were on this ship in July and loved it. Going back in January and can’t wait! Who is the current cruise director?
  13. Thanks for posting! We were on Equinox in July and we also loved Lewis!!🥰
  14. We brought our own soda and water on, to Equinox, in July. We had a few 12-packs and bottled water too. And then dropped it off in our room as soon as we boarded, since the room keys are at your door and you can access your room right away. Very nice to have this option!
  15. We were on Equinox this summer and there was plenty of availability on board to make specialty dining reservations. We had one booked in advance and booked two additional on the spot. Enjoy your trip!! We LOVED the Equinox!!
  16. I agree with the others; the front row chairs fill up quickly. We had a similar time of 8 am and I’m glad we went that early to get a good spot. We were less than impressed by this excursion overall. It had the potential to be nice, based on the facilities, but it fell short of that. You get a welcome drink upon entering, and then a voucher for a lunch and a drink. The line to redeem the lunch voucher was very long and once you placed your order, you then got into another line to wait for the food. The choices were things like cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches, with a bag of chips and a soda. We didn’t go to the pool, but the music was very loud and I was surprised by some of the songs that were playing😳 The beach was beautiful but the resort itself wasn’t our favorite. I love the DIY suggestion above, and will look into that if we go again!
  17. Yes to this!!! We went to Mr Sanchos in July (we were also on Equinox). We loved it! I would highly recommend 😋
  18. Agreed! I didn’t sail Yacht Club but we did a basic room on MSC this past June and I will never sail them again, YC or not. Definitely an example of, you get what you pay for. I’ve seen some others write positive reviews about MSC and I’m glad they had a great experience. It was definitely not for us.
  19. We were on the Equinox the week of July 16. There were no clips, just the straps. No special shoes needed. Peloton bikes were first come, first served. There were 4, but they were never all operational. By the end of the cruise, all 4 had been removed☹️ You did have to have a peloton account in order to use one of the bikes.
  20. I haven’t dined in Luminae but can confirm Murano is outstanding. The tableside lobster was available on Equinox this summer when we sailed, the week of July 16. Ask for Stanislav. He’s a phenomenal server! And happy anniversary!
  21. I saved mine from our July 16 sailing on Equinox. We had a different itinerary but I’d be happy to send it to you if you want to see it.
  22. I took a Pilates class on Equinox recently, but to be honest, it was not a great experience. It was taught by one of the two main fitness instructors and I could tell he wasn’t specifically trained in Pilates. I figured I still benefited from going, though. They also offered yoga as well as morning and evening stretch classes.
  23. Sure thing! Our cruise was Sunday - Saturday and this offer was in the daily planner on Wednesday.
  24. I can’t remember which day, I’ll have to check my daily planner again, but halfway (or so) through our 6 day cruise on Equinox a few weeks ago, they were offering internet packages 40% off.
