  1. CC is the only social media platform I belong to. There are few posters here on CC that share some valuable information that has nothing to to with food, entertainment, cut backs, etc. I read a lot of threads based on titles. I may or not agree with the opinions. I share my opinions and experiences and don't care or expect others to agree or disagree with me. Years cruising, tier levels, Cruise Critic post counts, date joined CC means nothing to me. Glad to see the nays are in the majority concerning this thread.
  2. Go speak with the CC concierge. Someone dropped the ball, as you should have received your welcome aboard letter and flier with all your onboard CC perks/benefits on embarkation day. No different than what RC CAS does.
  3. Only if you book a B2B cruise and only on TAD for the second leg.
  4. No doubt. But we aren't willing to roll the dice on others opinions or experiences. Just sharing our approach. We started cruising in 1991. Long before I had a computer and long before I joined Cruise Critic in 2001. The only lesson learned for us on that 1991 cruise was, do not book late TD dining. Other than that all our independent decisions (even when using a TA) have been positive.
  5. Why not wait until you have actually experienced Celebrity again and then decide for yourself. Yes there has been some changes post covid and more recently under the new RCG regime, I mean management. Others experiences/opinions positive or negative do not concern us. That's their opinion and I respect that but we will decide for ourselves. Looking forward to our October Eclipse cruise.
  6. That's what I said, "Concierge class gets a lunch in the MDR. Limited menu. All stateroom categories below Concierge class do not have the MDR lunch option".
  7. I'd like to be at one of the Margarita Bars tonight with all the tributes.
  8. Agree. I always sit on the deck above the pool deck so finding a lounger in a good spot (no matter the time of day) has never been a problem for me. Only one lounger as my wife doesn't enjoy it.
  9. If that isn't a print for a T-shirt it should be.
  10. Open seating. Reservations not required.
  11. IMO, luck has nothing to do with it. No doubt.
  12. Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes...RIP
  13. I get it and would be great and helpful if the app could be trusted for menus. At least the app works for selecting pre cruise check in times, muster drill and health questionnaire. We don't even look at the menu posted at the entrance to the MDR when they post it each day in the afternoon.
  14. We wait until we are sitting in the MDR with menu in hand.
  15. Thanks for posting the menu. Selections look yummy and we could build a 5 course meal from all the different selections (not the upcharge ones).
  16. We'll be on the Enchanted 27 March 2024. First time on the Enchanted. I'll check it out. But I also like being in the sun while enjoying my BP. 🍺
  17. We only use our CC wash n fold laundry perk for underwater and socks. Cloth bags. We have cruised Princess and never used and never will use their onboard laundromats. Cruised HAL and their laundry return service was nicer than Celebrity's but we only used it for underwear and socks so not a show stopper there.
  18. Beat to Email your concerns, disappointments or complaints to; executiveoffice@celebrity.com
  19. The Celebrity Today will have the most accurate info for you specific cruise. Enjoy your cruise. 🍻
  20. The Comic Sans Font no matter color or bold is hard to read on a phone. Looks cursive. On a Laptop, no problem. You must be posting from a Laptop. I prefer using my Laptop so I have no problem reading your posts.
  21. We have. That's because RCI means, Royal Consistently Inconsistent.
  22. Depends on the device you're using. Laptop, no problem reading the Bold Comic Sans Font.
  23. We did once in Miami due to a mandatory Coast Guard inspection. Waited in the terminal for about an hour. Last group off, first group back on.
