  1. Space ratio totally matters and can be felt on the ship in many places as well as in GDR
  2. They had an amazing singer and comedian from Ireland
  3. Absolutely enjoyed Vista yet there was something that i can't quite put my finger on that made EJ experience exceptional. Perhaps less crowded and more space. Both have strong points particularly entertainment on Vista yet more and better staff on EJ
  4. They have ordering well organized at Waves grill so maybe they followed that example. Enjoy its lovely
  5. Really enjoyed our February sailing however ship felt very crowded especially in Terrace and elevators More hand washing would have been great. Dw tested positive for Covid the day we got off shipm. I tested positive for 1st time ever4 days later
  6. Having sailed on both i can truly say that yes EJ is more expensive it is also more memorable in a good way
  7. Sakura on EJ and Red Ginger on Vista are both similar in concept. Sakura is a bit broader in approach and menu. Wagu beef on EJ is extraordinary as was the sushi and a bit more smoky lamb. Red Ginger offers superb service in a 1st class setting with excellent food as well and a follow up visit is planned. Have had some issues with EJ back of the house at EJ with paperwork et al and miscommunication. Have not had that issue with Oceania. Tried to book EJ 2 for next year which was on sale 2 days ago at 35 % off which was just reduced to 15 % discount. I missed it by 1 day and they will not extend the 35% discount.. Oh well that will be one cruise missed. Everything is going well here on Vista with enjoyable food, nuce service and excellent entertainment I have fully expressed overall thoughts and experiences on both ships. Have truly loved both experiences and both are radically different. Both are incredibly beautiful ships with lovely capable talented crews with excellent service. In the end it comes down to doing the research making choices and both cruise experiences will provide exceptional cruise experiences. Tastes differ so check it out. Have fun Be well all. Cruise well. Stay safe All the best Waltershipman Hank DW also tested positive for Covid the day we got off the ship i tested positive 5 days later Have fun Look forward to your posts

  13. We were on 7th floor near forward elevator and while we did hear some slight noise frim one neighbor cabin it was not intrusive at all
  14. We stayed in Brickell area and we loved the cultural vibe in the area . It so happened that sitting across from us was Julio iglesias jr being interviewed and his entourage. The food was great sevice as well
  15. In Miami i highly reccomend the restaurant My Name is Dolores but you can call me Lolita. 1st saw it on CC then went on recent cruise out of Miami big fun and excellent
  16. I was disappointed but ultimately not surprised when i tried to book a January 5 sailing at 35% off only to be told the sail ended the day before and now there was only a 15 % discount and they would not extend even though i was a past passenger
