Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Exactly! I don't know why people pay so much attention to the app anyway, esp. if so far out from their cruise and/or if just perusing in their spare time from home. I can't tell you how many times my wiater in Luminae has said don't worry if you don't see something on the menu, just let me know and I will do my best to get it for you if it is on the ship.
  2. I'm with you! We love Naples and is one of our favorite cities in Italy. Gritty yes, but if you dig deep and talk to the natives, you get a real understanding of the city. We also did a tour way up in the hills, the "other" side of Naples, a very different perspective and the views OMG amazing. Can't wait to go back for a few days in Nov.
  3. I suggest that you just do you and the way searching for information works best for YOU and not others who may seem to know everything, or seem to pretend that they do.
  4. If you are in an upper suite, you need not worry about specialty dining reservations, shoreside or your butler will accommodate all of your requests.
  5. My understanding is she will go try dry dock following the TA that ends in Southampton on 4/3/25. The next cruise following is not showing on the website until April 27 from Amsterdamn. So basically only 3 weeks to do whatever they plan to do.
  6. Agree, being on stage contestant would be fun, otherwise it’s just a $$$ grab.
  7. I don’t believe that extensive. Carpets, drapes, some hard goods so I think along the lines of what they did with Summit. My TA ends on April 3, 2025 and that’s when the work is scheduled to commence.
  8. Really glad to see this (mostly) positive feedback on the Eclipse. The broken drawer analogy made me chuckle! 🙂 Sailed on EClass which was super nice but I like the older ship styles just as much, enjoy mixing it up. I booked a March 2025 TA on Eclipse, last one before she goes into dry dock next April. We just decided to make it a B2B and tonight went ahead and booked the preceeding cruise as well, so we'll have 18 days on the tired ole gal, before she gets her nips and tucks, and so looking forward to it.
  9. We did the same. Booked a TA on 3/3/2024 and today booked the preceeding cruise as well and we got $100 discount for doing a B2B. Also, as we purchased FCC on board in Dec. we got some nice OBC for each cruise as well.
  10. Did my first B2B in December on the Summit and it was very easy. Butler met with me the day before and gave me the letter and reviewed the process with me. We all met up in a small meeting room and once everyone was there they handed us our envelope with the new sea pass card and off we went. Left the ship went through security with our passport and escorted back onto the ship. The entire process took 15 minutes.
  11. It's always unfortunate when someone loses his/her job. Although NO companies advertise it, they may announce a series of layoffs but they aren't going to give the names, privacy issues.
  12. Good thing you won’t have to find out.
  13. Summit in December had both San P and Perrier
