  1. I got the benefits within a couple days also. Does not take long for sure
  2. Well your post started with SO Disappointed with Royal. CATS- We don't like it either, just don't go see it, certainly does not make us Disappointed with Royal. Just one production show of the many Royal has that I choose not to go and see.
  3. Depending on her age, it should be. Younger children only need a birth certificate I think. Ove 12, needs a school ID or something in addition to the birth cert.
  4. Try Astronaut Row. Fairly close to the beach and all three hotels have park and stay and shuttle service to the port. We have stayed at the Radisson and used their shuttle service many times. Maybe 5 minutes to the beach.
  5. Depends where you are cruising from. If from the US and it is a closed loop, then yes, her certified Birth Cert and ID will be sufficient.
  6. NEVER! Love my beach days and really like Labadee. Have not been in a long time and cannot wait to go back. I will take a beach day over sitting on the ship any day of the week!
  7. We love Nellie's Beach, always sit there. Close to the bar and one of the most sandy beaches as far and entrance into the water. Husband loves to sit under the seagrape tree, but you can get umbrellas also.
  8. That is EXACTLY what we do. I am so against people taking off the auto tips and robbing the behind the scenes people that work so hard to make our vacation a great one.
  9. I usually send in our stock info about 2 months out - for example - I just applied for Aug and Sept with our June stockholder statement.
  10. We are the same as you - we never see that kind of behavior and we take 3 or 4 night cruises almost monthly. This is an exception, not the rule. People have so many false misconceptions of short cruises.
  11. Bunch of idiots, should be banned from all cruise ships for life.
  12. We always get our money's worth. If my beer is half empty and warm, I order a new one. If husband's drink is watered down, get a new one. If we try something we don't like, we get a new one. Plus with my husband's specialty coffees with Bailey's in the morning, water/soda and I have a couple Mimosa's, the package pays for itself before you know it.
  13. exactly. And if you have something-for example GF-if you tell the waiter, it goes to your room # info, so whichever waitstaff you get the next night already knows you have a GF dinner. We have never cared if we have the same waitstaff.
  14. We cruise all the time in Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov and just don't worry about it. If a storm happens, they will change the itin and take you out of it. In all the years we have cruised and we cruise those months every year, maybe 3 or 4 times have we had bad weather.
  15. Us either, we love MTD and will never go back to Traditional. I will say for Explorer, when we went in April, it was one of the rare cruises I actually made MTD reservations b/c the lines were pretty long and we wanted to make the shows. But by October, should be much better as they get more and more staff on the ship.
  16. I look at the APP and then put a reminder in my Calendar. Have all of them in the Calendar for the rest of this year so I know when I can go in and do my check in and get my boarding time. We want to check in as early as possible, so I do check in as soon as I can.
  17. Ocean water will be totally warm, it is late June. Pool water is not heated but still should be okay at this time of the year.
  18. We use the annual policy on Allianz all the time, but we also do not have the basic. So far, only have had to use it once, but no issues at all.
  19. I want my Compass. I am not a fan of the app. I use it to book shows, and that is about it.
  20. we never have issues with rocks out there. We sit at Chill Beach to the left of Wacky Seagull. But that whole area, never have had any issues with rocks. We go into the water with bare feet all the time.
  21. I always book as soon as they come out. The beauty of that is I watch for price breaks, and if the cruise goes down, I get the lower price. We cruise about 12 times a year, right now I have everything booked through 1/2024. I would guess out of 137 cruises, maybe 5% of the time does it go down AFTER final payment. Of all the cruises I have booked now, every single one of them have gone down since I booked and I have gotten the price break. I check pretty much every other day to see if anything has gone down.
  22. I agree to disagree. We just went to a restaurant here in town and it took 20 minutes to get a waiter and another 20 to just get a drink. So it is all over the place. Royal is doing their best. It will get better. Been on 9 cruises since startup and we have not been disappointed, but we understand the issues and work with it.
