  1. Us folks don't put it on anything. We are not grits fans either. I need to check the Mason Jar menu to see if they serve stuff like this.
  2. Ding, ding, ding! Now that's what I'm talkin bout! I didn't know there were so many "foreigners that post here. 😳 BTW, when the waitress asked where they were from they said Missouri. 😆 From what I have read it is popular in the Ozark and Appalachian Mountain regions. I don't recall it served other than around here. It was a one and done for me. Sharon doesn't eat it either. Just incase no one noticed, the original post was intended to be a funny. I would of been shocked if most had heard of it. I never heard of it until we moved here. Actually it's the only Cafe that I can think of that serves it.
  3. We ate lunch at a local Cafe today. Along with the usual lunch offering they are known for their breakfast which can be ordered at lunch. We had two small tables fill up next to us. We overhead one couple ordering biscuits and gravy. When the waitress ask white or chocolate the couple looked so puzzled. The couple asked what's chocolate gravy? The waitress asked, where are you from? The couple next to them turned around and said, we never heard of chocolate gravy either! Our SIL showed them his bowl of chocolate gravy. The waitress offered to bring them out some to try. How often do you go to a local Cafe and both tables nezt to you are occupied by foreigners 🤔

  5. You might remember that my DD and Lottie was very close to where one of the tornadoes touched down yesterday. Her DH joined others to help clean up. This is a couple pics he took. This is the street behind the daycare that my DD was at.
  6. Great to see you again! Sounds like you are sooo busy. I love the pool. Looks like it would be a cool place for the Dani family to meet. Thanks for sharing.
  7. At this point the Neurologist is saying probable. We should know more after the MRIs next week. There is still hope.
  8. Luckily the worst of it stayed south of us. Now that the sun is going down, all is much calmer. Thankful all ended well.
  9. Even though the tornado 🌪 touched down much closer to the daycare, it came close to Corrie and Zander's school too. Someone from the parking area shot this video. VideoEditor_20230331_064705.mp4
  10. SIL shot this as he passed the area where my DD was picking up Lottie. The daycare is right off the highway there. I didn't realize the tornado hit so close. You can't see it in this video but across the street there were businesses that had there roofs ripped off. IMG_6059.mp4
  11. I totally understand not seeing post. I often miss a post until I someone else responds to it. I almost missed the one you responded too. Thanks.
  12. The way I understand ALS there is no actual way of testing for it so there will not be a positive or negative result for ALS. We are actually hoping to find something else that is causing the problem and that something can be done for it. Like I said before, please also pray for those around me that is having a hard time handling the news. The girls are doing so much better. Wow Mimi, I wish you could be here to give me a hug too. I love warm hugs! Thanks for your thoughtful words and prayers.
  13. My DD who lives in Little Rock AR had a tornado touch down near them but they are OK. The plus side the parents were at their kids schools, two different schools, because it hit about the time schools were about to let out so they were able to be with the kids. The news is showing a semi truck thrown across the highway, buildings with roofs ripped off and shredded tree limbs thrown all over neighborhoods. As of now it is storming with no tornado but it looks like it can still pick up again. As of now the strongest part of it is tracking just south of us.
  14. When I first saw this I thought it was one pic and was thinking the partial toes in the upper pic was someone else under a ledge in front of you. I really liked your Coco Cay pic. I love the sunlight reflecting off the water. Happy Birthday to Eric.
