Isn't it great when you can get in early. My DD just keeps getting appointments moved up for me. My MRIs were scheduled at the end of April right before we will be taking off to Hawaii. Now it will be the 1st week in April and the Neurologist will see me the following Monday!

@dani negreanu Here is a pic of the Kohlrabi I planted Monday. They are getting their 2nd rain today. On the other side of the bed I planted broccoli. Here is some lettuce I planted too. I will try to remember to share some pics when the Kohlrabi matures.

Thanks It was great. Always great when the family is all together. Today the oldest DD and SIL are going to a show in Memphis while we watch their kids so the Grandkids will all be together again today and part of tomorrow. Love it. Also we got some new patio furniture for the screened in area of the deck and the SILs put it all together. One said he wanted it all together for Gpa's birthday!

She sells them as cut flowers but she pulls the whole flower and cuts at the bulb for long stems. She will plant fresh bulbs for next year. Here is a display of what she sells.

Not sure which tower, just know it's an ocean view. Sharon said said she can't see it on the reservation. We had just got a new Chase card and the points covered the Hilton hotel and the one night near LAX. I'm sure we will figure it out.

I soon, next 1/2 hour, will have all 7 grandkids here! I love ❤️ it when the whole family gets together. My MIL and SIL is also here. Sharon made one of the family favorites tonight. Curry and Roti. We like substituting beef for the chicken.

If all goes as planned we will arrive Sunday afternoon. We will be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian village Waikiki . Our Assistant TA, Sharon, 😃 is setting it all up. Then when we get there she will say let's go and I know then for sure what we are doing. 😆 Maybe we can figure out sometime to meet up. I now Monday will be a busy day for us. So Sunday afternoon or before we board. We are cruising with two other couples.

It's only 78⁰ out right now so I am gardening inside moving tomato plants from 2.5 inch pots to 5 inch pots. They will head to the raised beds April 14th if all goes well.

Thanks for all of the Happy Birthday wishes 😊 Looks like RC wanted to make it a special day for me too. Today they sent out a notice that they are dropping the pre-cruise testing for the Hawaii to Vancouver cruise in May!

I would love to bring here. I will probably only be able to share pics they send while we cruise. Caden would love to come.

You might remember Sharon used to take care of everything for us and are cruising friends. Now we use a TA. Our TA will be cruising with us in May. Group rates and OBC is nice. Also we originally booked a guaranteed balcony for May. Just a while ago he got it switched to an OVB for a cost difference just alittle over $40. Now no concern of getting an obstructed view.

They may but I have never noticed it and most cruises we are on deck 8. The only time I remember noise is when across the hall from us was a crew station where I think they were washing dishes. I don't ever remember noise after 10.00pm If you are considering B2 grab one now and if you feel later that something else sounds better then switch. With a refundable deposit you are not locked in. When I look yesterday or Sunday there we only 2 OVB in the center area.

It harvest time. They have 8 flower subscriptions to fulfill.

On Bella 2 we booked our OVBs on deck 8. We like to be near Central Park and the restaurants.

@dani negreanu Remember us discussing purple kohlrabi? I started them from seeds a few weeks ago and was able to transplant 16 plants into the raised bed yesterday along with broccoli and and a couple of Brussel sprouts and some lettuce. I forgot to take pics of the Kohlrabi but will try to remember later. Raining today. I also plan to direct sow some seeds this week.

When mine swelled up at Disney my favorite nurse, and snorkeler, texted me to sleep with my feet elevated and to wear tight socks. The swelling was down the next day.

A couple weeks ago I was so surprised I only had 3 bulbs of garlic left. I haven't had any since incase some were needed for Sharon's cooking. Well great news, Sharon found 14 more bulbs! Guess what I will have for lunch! Whatever it is, garlic will be part of it.

@dani negreanu. Also, if you ever think it might be wise to fly in a week early, check out fights to Arkansas. You and your husband are always more than welcome to hang out at our place. And if things ever goes wacky with flights, we will all drive to the port!
