A couple weeks ago I was so surprised I only had 3 bulbs of garlic left. I haven't had any since incase some were needed for Sharon's cooking. Well great news, Sharon found 14 more bulbs! Guess what I will have for lunch! Whatever it is, garlic will be part of it.

@dani negreanu. Also, if you ever think it might be wise to fly in a week early, check out fights to Arkansas. You and your husband are always more than welcome to hang out at our place. And if things ever goes wacky with flights, we will all drive to the port!

I understand how long flights are not easy, when I flew to Cambodia it was very long. Our next cruise from Hawaii is not as long but long to us. We decided we will first fly to LAX, spend the night and then fly to Hawaii the next day. If you fly half way to a nice stop, spend a couple days then fly the rest it would maybe lighten the jetlag. The thing is if you booked with a refundable deposit it would reserve a spot for you now and if closer it looks like things won't work you can easily cancel and be out nothing. As for cost, if you can enjoy an OVB or less you can book an OVB for about $2,600 us right now. That's total cost, not each. THE TA saved us about $1,000 compared to booking through RC. And it's a refundable deposit. So you can reserve a room now and decide later. We were able to book OVBs on our favorite deck 8! Not sure it will work out but there is always hope!

There are all sorts of uncertainty when booking 2 years out but the big plus side to the Bella 2 cruise is you can book with a refundable deposit. Lord willing we all can make it but if not there is no loss.

We found out a couple weeks ago that RC is requiring test for the Hawaii cruise. Being on SS, I was able to get 8 free test so I was able to get 1 one all 6 of us and 2 backup test!

Well if you just think about it, it all adds up.

I have some sad news to share..... I recounted my garlic. I thought I had 176 but after a double count 😔 I only have.....174. 😔

😆 last year I was basically done the end of January but I like to wait a day or two and recheck it. I ended up checking it again early April 🙃.

Man I'm glad you posted that. Taxes. I keep getting busy with stuff and keep forgetting to do the taxes. It won't be hard. I have spreadsheets made up that calculate my taxes so I can get an idea what I want to pull out of my 401Ks. Next year's is basically done already. 😆 Now off to gardening. 😆 oooops.

It's funny. I guess sometimes you don't even know you are even playing monopoly. How about some sunset picks. Took these when we got home this evening. From the side of the house. And we all love balcony views.

Another is a Low Country Boil. It is loaded with Shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob and a variety of other stuff. After cooking it is tossed out on paper or tray for all to enjoy.

Got to see it. The first half I thought we were going to get embarrassed. About the middle of the second half I stopped trying to keep up with this thread and watched the game closely.

It was a hard fought game. Down to the last seconds.

😆 bumper crop. I grow to much as it is but it's fun and great to be able to share. Usually when I grow garlic I lose about 15% . A couple weeks ago I counted the ones that are up and bigger than ever before. 176. If I recorded correctly I planted 178. Lost 2! Some think I over grow garlic. 😆 🤣 😂. How do you overgrow garlic! I only have 3 bulbs left from last year's harvest.

The kids this week asked if they could go together for my birthday present and put a drip Irrigation system in my garden! I said YES. The SILs, with Kenzie's dad heading it up, are going to put it together. A lot of work. Kenzie's family has one for their flower business they started.
