Thank you for the responses. I had heard it was especially bad on the Panorama so hopefully there will be some improvement. Our cruise isn't until May 25th so our weather might cooperate. We just sailed in the aft wrap on the Miracle and didn't see a speck.

Hi, I have read that the back balcony cabins on the Panorama can suffer from soot problems. Has this improved since the recent repair last fall? Thanks!

Hopefully something will show up on-line within a few days. We had this happen once. DH got his early on the last night but nothing for me and I did more damage. We had time to go to the casino to ask and they swear they put one under our door for me but nada. It was there on-line a few days later. Honestly, the regular offers are way better. The bounce-backs haven't been coming with free play.

Thank you, CARNIVAL!!!! Some people can't eat pizza so having something else besides waiting and waiting for room service is a VERY welcome change. 🙂

Hi, We do it the same as wemjam. We set our account up as credit card so we can start charging things right away while the lines at guest services are long. The kiosks are also hit or miss for us. About day 2 or 3, we load the gift cards. They will always use the gift cards first. We also only load what we think we will use. If we charge more, we load more. That saves us from any kind of a refund situation. Tina

LOL! to LRDR01. I do understand some of your thoughts. We 100% agree about the Ocean Suites. Ours was missing a shower door and the trap under the tub wouldn't stay locked and there was rust at the door frame in the bathroom. We also had a water leak over our bed. The crew did their absolute best to help us with that and comped some stuff. Since then, we have opted for the aft view balcony and love it there. I will admit... one of our cabins had a smell of burnt pizza most of the trip but DH liked that! LOL!!!! I will also agree about the Seaday Brunch. IT TOOK FOREVER!!!!!!!!! Never again! But... we always have a great time and the crew has been amazing and if you get a room towards the back or at least in the middle, you're close to everything. (We aren't production show people) We prefer the 4 day trips compared to the weekend booze cruise but it's fun either way. 🙂 Tina

Thank you for your review. We really enjoy the Radiance and much prefer it over the Panorama. Our daughter just got off of her this AM and we'll be on her again in 2 weeks. YAY!!! I don't know what it is but it just feels more comfortable. 🙂

We had a second person not show up and we received a $100 fine. Port Chargers refunded, less $100.

Hi, Where exactly is the smoking section on the Panorama? I don't usually pay much attention as non-smokers but we just booked the Junior Suite on the front and Starboard. My eyes just got real big and I said Oh No! Thanks, Tina

We have done this a lot but we've had a few snags along the way. We always wait until we have spent the money before loading the cards but a few ships have limited how many cards can be redeemed, per cabin. We usually have 2 cabins and 2 gift cards per cabin has always been fine and sometimes more is OK. My suggestion is to not bring $100 cards if you plan to use them for gambling.

For me, it's because the dining room closes before we get up! 🙂

Hello! We cruise both Carnival and Princess and I will say the Carnival casino deals are WAY BETTER! I'm not saying I like sailing Carnival better but sometimes I just can't pass up the great deal. Each line is different and I enjoy both products for different reasons. Carnival is more fun, more casual and tends to be younger. Princess is more relaxing and tends to attract an older crowd with less families. Casino deal wise, Carnival gives us Suites, $1000 each and free drinks. I've also hit more jackpots on Carnival. Princess gives us a balcony and $400. We had to pay $840 to add Plus so Carnival wins! We have cruises booked on both to change it up! 🙂 Have fun either way!

I'm going to agree with the last 2 posters. We like the Radiance and we prefer it to the Panorama. We sail the Radiance next month and that's our third time in 6 months. Yes, it can get crowded and avoiding Spring Break is a must. It's a nice old ship. I think the Panorama feels crowded as well. We're sailing on her again, too, but we've had more fun on the Radiance. The 3 and 4 day cruises are a completely different experience from the 7 day.

It's worth it with 3 people. The double sinks are really nice! I think I prefer the aft "balcony" better because of the depth but the balcony on the suite is longer. Also, the chance of the room being ready at embarkation is awesome and kinda worth it. PLUS... You get two bottles of water! LOL!!!!!

Personally, I'm not a fan. I'm a shorty and getting in and out is difficult and the distance back into the bathroom is very deep for me. I've learned how to work around it but I suspect some people have an issue. Plus, I'm not interested in taking a bath on a cruise. I wanna get in and out and enjoy the ship.

Great observations! Each line offers something different so it's nice to switch it up sometimes. We like cruising Princess with our friends and when we want a more relaxed trip. Carnival works best when we bring our adult kids. Carnival's casinos are a lot more fun. The International Cafe is a game changer. We stay up late and might want a cookie or something small. We have cruises booked on both. 🙂

Hi, Been on all three as well, a few times, and have some booked now. Our preference is the Radiance. DH will say it's because they have Shaq's chicken! LOL!!!! We prefer smaller ships but the Radiance is a happy medium and has a lot of food choices. I agree about the Panorama doing the longer itineraries and that's a big plus but it has a much bigger feel. The buffet on the Panorama is TINY and not good. The Miracle is kinda funky with the comedy club and the dance club located on the lowest deck, along with the OV rooms. You also have to walk through the smoky casino to get to the front on that deck. We're gamblers so we're used to it but we didn't like it when we had our kids with us. All of them have been good trips though. We just prefer the Radiance. Tina

Hi, I've been holding my second person as TBD also but I always add the information right before final payment. Are some of you saying that you can leave it TBD until after final payment? Holding out as long as possible would be awesome but I don't want to mess up my reservation. Thanks, Tina

Our best deal was free suites with $1000 free play and drinks around the ship. My husband and I were both getting these types of offers and we booked 3 cruises with them and both got the $1000. Since cruising is picking up again, our offers have dropped to balconies with less cash and drinks in the casino. Like memoak said... we're going to gamble anyway so it's nice to get the "pre-paid" offers.
