I would have enjoyed listening to the classical duo but they played in the Explorer’s Lounge and I thought it was freezing there.
We traveled with friends and he found the temperature perfect🤷♀️
Our room temperature was easily adjusted. I do like it cool for sleeping although my husband describes that as Arctic camping. -
We disembarked the Zaandam on Saturday after a 16 day cruise. We like 8pm fixed dining and had a great time in the MDR. Our servers, Agangga and Sattwika, were excellent, personable and efficient.
We spent 28 days on the Rotterdam in October and had great service in the MDR.
We will be on the Noordam for 39 days starting March 25th, again with 8pm fixed dining.
We love the Pinnacle class ships but thoroughly enjoyed being on a smaller ship again.- 4

We are in one of those OV cabins now. The new tv was installed yesterday and is working. Unfortunately it sits on the desk and takes up almost 2/3 of the space.

Boarding Zaandam in a couple of hours. Not the least bit excited. Where’s the jumping up and down emoji?!!!

I thought the coffee in the Lido on our October Rotterdam cruise was much better than pre covid. I wondered if HAL had changed brands. I drink it black and always enjoyed my morning coffee.

As of Saturday, October 15 and the start of the 150th Anniversary Cruise on Rotterdam, masks will be mandatory for the first 7 days.
For those of us already wearing masks, not an issue.

To reach the Uber pickup spot at Schipol , you have to cross 4 roads. Is this just a few minutes outside of terminal? Any traffic safety issues or problems with is?

Friends booked on a World Cruise on another line received an email today canceling Russian ports and replacing them with Japanese ports. Their cruise is 2024!

@LAFFNVEGASLisa, we have added breakfast to our Movenpick reservation and booked the pizza canal cruise for our first night in Amsterdam. Thank you for your reports and pictures, it makes such a difference hearing first hand about things.

We will be boarding Rotterdam on October 2nd and spending 3 days in Amsterdam pre cruise. We are also staying at the Movenpick.

We’ve had adjoining cabins and never had any issues. We have one booked for our next cruise.

We always get an internet package but leave our phones in the safe on airplane mode. With the new Navigator app we will likely carry our phones with us on board. We will be cruising through multiple time zones, will our phones automatically adjust connected to the Navigator app?

We have canceled our February 5th cruise on the Rotterdam, Tropical Caribbean. Please remove us from the list.
We have booked October 2nd to October 30th on the Rotterdam , The Baltic and 150th Anniversary Transatlantic.
This will be our third attempt to sail Rotterdam Vll🤞

Curious about why your final payment date was December 6th. Our final payment date for February 5th cruise was December 7th and for the February 20th segment, December 22nd.

Our cruise line requires proof of a negative Covid test 48 hrs before boarding. We plan to get tested as late on Thursday as we can, fly to Ft. Lauderdale Friday morning and embark on Saturday.
Bigger concern right now is the huge rise in cases in the U.S.

We were able to change our flight yesterday. Thanks @canadianbearand @Fouremcoand all posters.
There are very few direct flights from Ottawa so most times we connect through Toronto or Montreal . I prefer Toronto probably because the flight to Montreal is on a small plane and involves a walk across the tarmac into the airport. 🥶
I tried to reply several times yesterday but the CC gremlins were out in full. Hope this works.

We booked our flights through HAL’s Flight Ease for our February cruise out of FLL. Final payment is due December 7th.
We got an email yesterday from AC changing our flight. We are not comfortable with the time we have to clear U.S. customs and make our connection in Terminal 1 in Toronto. February 🌨🌬❄️😬
My question, do we try to change flights before or after final payment.

I think (hope) @VMax1700 is correct. Our February, 2022 cruise is advertised as a vaccinated cruise however a March, 2023 cruise is not.

Our wine always arrived quickly on the Zaandam, 8pm fixed dining. The first night in the MDR, our wonderful server asked, “would you like a double?” Hmmmm, what a good idea. ☺️
