My son turns 17 on March 29 of 2018 and we sail on April 8. He only has his drivers permit right now. I hope he has his drivers license by then but if he doesn't will we need a photo ID for him?

Did your kids do Adventure Ocean? If so how old are they? Did they like it?
-
We were here but it was April 2016. Could be just because of the hurricane.

Don’t use them. Terrible company.

Who would you use or who have you used?

Says on their site of 2 bags allowance and 1 carry on. Is that per person or for the entire group?

I might not agree as much in 3 weeks when my 2nd favorite teams plays my favorite. I think my 2nd favorite is your favorite.
Looking forward to it. We better get our offense going (o line especially) or it's going to be a long day in Columbus. Everything Barkley gets he does it on his own with not much help.

Has the NFL season started already ?
Nope, College season has and it's been great so far.

You mean those adult human beings who believe in equal treatment for all and believe that inequality and police brutality are unacceptable?
Yea, sure whatever you say.

Great tune.

Nobody will be watching the NFL with those overpaid crybabies.

California is a victim of the Continental Tilt Theory. The Continent tilted and all the nuts rolled to California.

Thanks lovestx. I knew he would not check in right away. But wanted to let him know someone was thinking about and worrying about him!
Hope they all get up and going soon

I, too am thinking of Drake and all the people in St. Croix and every other island affected by these monster hurricanes. Drake was a big help to me while I was planning our day in St. Croix last year which was our first visit.

I have used Godfrey Tours the several times that I have visited St. Thomas. He does a great job. The tour is very reasonably priced and well worth the money.
I emailed him a few days ago sending my well wishes and prayers to him after getting hit by both hurricanes. He replied that they took a hard blow and was not sure how soon things will be operational again.
The island needs the tourists spending money to get their economy going again. they will get the island back up and running quickly.
You will not be disappointed using Godfrey Tours.
We used Godfrey in late 2014. He was a very good tour operator and knew his island very well and like you said was reasonably priced. My kids really liked it too. So glad to hear he is fine after Irma. These people on these islands need much help.

Still waiting for the OP to show her bikini;p

Royston can only accomdate 6 to 8 people but he was great. Best tour we ever did.

The eye is currently right over Dominica as a cat 5. Praying for these people. We've never been here but it was on our list to go to. Hopefully someday.

We love Key West as well. You should do a land trip to Key West sometime, we've done it twice with a cruise stop just once. It's so laid back it's just a great place to spend a few days.

We're on the Adventure out of San Juan in October. Given that it's a port heavy itinerary (St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbados) I'm expecting that St. Maarten will be replaced with a sea day. While I'm sorry we won't be stopping there, and I'd be happy with another port, I'm also ok with a sea day.
You may go to Martinique. We did last year but that was scheduled.

We rented a car and drove to Christiansted. There is a Budget rental car office across the street from the pier. They move in island time so be patient. We also drove to Point Udall, the easternmost point in the U.S Beautiful scenery.

I usually never watch CNN (you can probably figure it out) but I tell you their coverage at least from 8pm to 11 pm has been the best I've seen covering the Caribbean islands and yes it looks as bad as it sounds. Actually I haven't seen much coverage at all on the Caribbean on other networks. These people need so much help. I just can't imagine cruise ships going to St. Maarten or St. Thomas/St. John for at least a year.

Thanks Royal and NCL for helping these poor folks any way you can. They need a lot of help as do others in other islands. What a path of destruction this storm has left.

They usually have free throw contests if they get enough people. Also mini golf they do as well, I entered one on the Oasis a while back and ping pong they also do as I entered one for that last year. Volleyball is usually just open play I believe.

I was looking on our fridge tonight and saw a photo of me, my wife and two boys in front of the Welcome to St. Maarten sign near the pier and I really got emotional and had a tear in my eye. I love this island we've been there four times, more than any other island. We don't cruise alot but the memories made on every island especially with our sons is why we do it and love it. I was asking the boys what they remember about our tour with Bernards and my 8 year old said Dad remember when the bus stopped and we fed the iguanas lettuce? I said yes that was awesome. He said I hope they survived. I said hopefully they did. My wife are planning a 25th anniversary trip there in a few years, hopefully it will be better than ever.
Do you take your kids out of school to cruise?

Yes we have taken them out for cruises and Disney World and will again in April of 2018 for a cruise. They are in 3rd and 11th. This may be the last time we get to cruise with our oldest. He is an honor roll student so he knows to keep grades up or he isn't going. So far this school year he says 2 other classmates have been on cruises so it's going on a lot apparently.
