I read through the first page and a half of posts and I just want to know what it would take for CC to add a "smh" button on to the response choices.......... It's a shame they missed the boat, I don't give a damn what the reason was.

I love Royal’s “broadway” shows. The ice shows in particular are fantastic as well as the Aqua shows. Last month I sailed MSC for the first time, the Magnifica, one of their smaller class vessels. Absolutely beautiful ship with over a dozen bars and lounges. Nearly every one had live musicians, no DJ. Every lounge or bar you walked in had excellent musicians. Royal doesn’t come close to that in my opinion. They used to, but have cut back on it.

Yes, amongst a few other factors, the perks I may or may not receive does weigh in.

I got my Hideaway for next month for $19.99...I originally got it for $22.99. Feb cruise I got it for $26.99.

On Magnifica last month my inside cabin I was assigned was forward on deck 12. A lot of people on our roll call page on the book were upgraded to a balcony.

I receive 5 "loyalty" drinks per day on my RC sailings. A 7 day cruise is roughly $500 in free alcoholic beverages. Not including the food treats left in my cabin, free bottle of wine, free photo, laundry etc... My platinum status on Carnival gets me next to nothing in comparison. My loyalty perks from Carnival come from the casino. I have to laugh when I hear Carnival is going to revamp their loyalty program....yes, please do!!

Stopped there on Magnifica last week, loved it!

I would really like to see RC ships at both ports.

I hope this is true!! I hope RC plans cruises coming out of Norfolk indefinitely, but who knows.

I love the Anthem but am also looking forward to some of the "new to me" ships coming to NJ...Liberty, Odyssey and Symphony. I will miss Anthem though, she's my favorite ship. Thank you for taking the time to bring us along.. following. 🙂

I did feel that way in my inside cabin only. I do plan on booking again but will make sure it's in an OV or balcony cabin so it's not so dreary. It did not feel outdated at all around the ship.

3 weeks ago I changed the name on my cabin mate for our Med cruise on Voyager for September. My original friend had to cancel, her mom was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She purchased the drink package and the dining package a long time ago. My new cabin mate now has those 2 purchases listed under her name, both purchases automatically transferred into her name. They didn't automatically cancel. My new cabin mate, my SIL, was just diagnosed with lymphoma last week.😢 I originally booked this cruise 2 years ago. We paid the fee a year ago to change the date as my first friend couldn't do the original one, then she got the news about her mom and had to cancel all together...this particular cruise is a frustration.

Thanks for following! 😀 No drinks at all in the pool area. Of course on the deck around the pool area is ok, but not even sitting around the pool area too put your feet in. (which is what I was doing)
