  1. I believe Celebrity started this in 2019. That's when we first were made aware of the new procedure.
  2. You are a very fortunate street person then. I draw the line sitting on the floor with a sign and a cup for handouts. 🤪
  3. The Celebrity lobster looks much bigger. 🦞
  4. I've seen that canned statement for our SJ cruises. But that can change from cruise to cruise. If you can schlep your own luggage, go for it. Rooms are typically ready after one. But that can change from cruise to cruise.
  5. If you take the bottle of wine into a venue that requires a server to pour your wine, possibly. That's been a moving target.
  6. Are they the exact itinerary? I'd book the itinerary I liked best not someone's positive or negative opinions or experiences. We've been on both ships. For us each cruise line and ship offer something the same and different.
  7. I don't even ask. 🤣 Agree about TAD. Cheers. 🍷
  8. Agree and that's a good thing for us B2Bers. 🙂
  9. Yes for Elite and above. No dedicated lounge like the DL. Most bars and as already stated not in the dining venues or the theater. No CC HH drinks the first evening of the cruise.
  10. Currently Celebrity is allowing two 750 ml bottles of wine per person, fleetwide.
  11. Agree. I carry a medium size back pack and my wife a purse with personal items in them. Easy to schlep around until the cabins are ready. But we do like how Celebrity handles it much better.
  12. There's a reason the fire doors are closed until the general announcement is made that the cabins are ready.
  13. I don't believe it has anything to do with that. Like Celebrity cruisers don't do the same. Maybe it's just me as I'm not paying attention to others or what they say. IMO, it's all about the dollars. I can remember when Celebrity and RC (at the time not under the RCG umbrella) when you weren't allowed to bring wine or other beverages onboard. The times, they are a changin'.
  14. Agree. RC has made some changes recently we and others aren't happy with.
  15. Agree with everyone that has told you to go speak with the LA. GS can not help you with CAS related issues.
  16. They'll send room service up with ice and you'll have to pay a service charge for the delivery. 😁
  17. Maybe it's not fleetwide. Maybe the photographers are being phased out thru attrition (not renewing their contract). We will be on the Apex in March. I'll keep an eye out for them. Personally I (we) could care less if the photographers were no longer but understand those that like that tradition. We rarely take advantage of the two free photos from our RC CAS perks/benefits.
  18. When is some time ago? The so called photographers were roaming around the ship and off the ship on our March 2022 B2B cruise on the Explorer. Same with our September 2022 Summit cruise.
  19. Not in this case. Total brain fart on my part. I own it.
  20. You will need to call the CC. 1-800-760-0654.
  21. That's not funny, that's scary. 🤣 Should have been #358.
