  1. Last few weeks in May, NY, Yacht club is under 2K. That's on my short list for the spring. ❀️
  2. Yep, those are the reasons I'm looking at other lines. Hey, have you sailed with MSC yet? They do status match, 1 time. I'm older now, not a sun worshiper, but I still want to be in that atmosphere, just in the shade πŸ˜„
  3. Do that many pay for Vibes? I did on my first Epic 2013. Maybe 7 people were in there at one time. It still isn't covered πŸ˜„ But looking down on the pool deck, I understand the draw. πŸ™‚
  4. Hi there Birdtravels. I live an hour from Seattle. It's a great escape to just go on the ship, usually NCL but have done a few 1 night HAL πŸ˜„ Usually stay on the ship and enjoy the covered hot tubs - Hmmm... curious, why do they cover the hot tubs? LOL πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜…
  5. I have, and love it. Still isn't a free indoor pool deck πŸ™‚
  6. Prima is going to Iceland and Norway for the next few years. All that outside space is wasted in poor weather. Won't stop me, but it is a feature that would be welcome. 🚒🧑πŸ₯‚ I'll never afford Haven and if I could, I'd invest it in a summer home (or 20 other cruises) πŸ˜„
  7. Long time NCL fan. Lately I've been looking at some other lines that offer an indoor pool area for adults only - included, not for pay. The bar and snack area in there is a bonus. Seems NCL should have something like this by now. Right?! Especially for Norway, Iceland, Alaska. I could not find a "suggestion box" for NCL πŸ™πŸš’πŸ§‘πŸ₯‚πŸͺ🐈
  8. Thank you for the review. On this cruise does Port or Starboard matter for a balcony?
  9. That's what I was thinking too and thought Aurea would be worth it for an indoor sanctuary space, with a pool. If one does not sunbathe or use the spa, is there a reason to book Aurea?
  10. The ship doesn't serve alcohol when in Saudi Arabia. Beyond the visual treasures, this will be an amazing cultural journey for sure πŸ₯°
  11. Do cruise ships change their schedules for Ramadan - for example, we arrive in Aqaba 4/3/23 at 9 AM, would we arrive earlier - how do we stay in port until 11 PM and Petra closes at 6 PM. Just enough time for a 9 hour tour πŸ™‚
  12. How did you transfer between Cairo and Sokhna. Did you have a hotel in Cairo? My cruise isn't listed yet πŸ™‚ Seems to be the only cruise they don't make arranges πŸ™‚
  13. Is there a door to the studio cabins near/behind the elevator end?
  14. This looks awesome and good news I could book as a solo. Thank you.
  15. This is all a personal choice, self of culture. I'm huge on tipping because they make it possible for us to have such a lovely vacations. The same way I'd tip housekeeping even though I already tipped the dinner server and cocktail server earlier in the evening. πŸ™‚
  16. OMG, there is so much of this going on, it was the first thing I thought of for the Prima Indulge Hall outside HA HA. I'm not a sun worshiper but it still comes to mind.:-D
  17. Has the first TA been announced? Will it be in the fall like other ones and cruise lines. Asking because I have limited time off windows.
  18. And slides! Just watching Harr's review. Looks like splash away bay has been moved where there Boardwalk would be WOW
  19. Ha Ha... I do believe I quoted that somewhere - first thing that came to mind GMTA πŸ˜„
  20. One vlogger says that most cruise ships have an inward focus design while NCL has an outward focus design.
  21. Of all the first word problems: I too picked out the TV facing the bed instead of the sofa. Hey, a girl likes her comfy down time on the sofa. πŸ˜„
