  1. I can't say what the highest amount you can charge from your account is, but I charged $300 at one time to use my remaining gift card obc on the Magic a couple weeks ago. A couple spins on a Hot 21 machine and I won $68, cashed out to my player bank, and then went to the casino cashier and cashed out. No problem. Can't guarantee you'll be lucky though.

Magic looked rough? How so? It looked lovely from all the reviews I’ve read, and Im on the Magic in April for a B2B for our 50th Anniversary.

We were on the Magic on this cruise and the next for a B2B. It was beautiful inside and out, not really sure what kind of beef this guy had but you know what they say about opinions. We had a wonderful time and there was no basis for a statement like this.

I'll bet one of the reasons they  have the drink limit so that people will be less likely to share their drink package.  If the drinks were unlimited, I could see many people having no problem getting drinks for people not on the plan.  At least with a 15 drink limit, there is a limit to the sharing.  I can't imagine drinking 15 alcoholic drinks in one day.  I couldn't drink like an alcoholic, even on vacation.   Maybe another reason is to limit the heavy drinker from irritating other people and also from getting alcohol poisoning.

Good point! I have a friend that didn't realize there was a limit and was buying his friends drinks, and reached the limit early and was cut off. He said he ended up heading to his cabin early because he could no longer buy a drink.

I saw the ad banner for their Black Friday deal at the top of their homepage yesterday, but now it's gone. We were going to go ahead and renew using the deal, but I don't see anything about it today. So either they ran it and ended it before Black Friday, or it's top secret and maybe will reappear Thursday and/or Friday. 🤔

If you go under the About tab on AARP Rewards, you should find the Black Friday renewal offer. It says it's good until 12/6.

Sunshine has a small comedy club because they put additional staterooms in the real comedy club and moved it to a smaller lounge. I haven't been on Magic yet but I have been on both sister ships. It's my favorite comedy club. Check out my live review of the Magic on here the first week of December. I frequent the comedy club and always document how the crowd is.

We start our b2b on that cruise so we'll probably be sitting next to you in the club!

It is 25% of your base rate, excluding taxes and port fees, given as a non refundable OBC. You do not have to use it on your 25th cruise, it just has to be used before you hit your 50th. You should try to use it on a more expensive cruise to get more bang for the buck. I used my 25 and 50 milestones on Journeys cruises. You may get a letter (we never did), after your 24th cruise. To redeem your milestone benefit you need to call the Milestone Desk (877-225-8477) at least 30 days prior to the cruise you want to use it on. The OBC won't show up on your documents until just a few days before your cruise, so don't get upset if it doesn't show right away. The terms and conditions also say that you need to book your milestone cruise within 18 months after receiving your letter, but I have heard that this isn't enforced. Hope this helps. :classic_cool:

Thanks for posting this! I was waiting for our letters to arrive before calling, and instead just called the Milestone Desk today to get our OBC on the second leg of our B2B on December 7th. The rep advised they are no longer sending the letters and it was a good thing I called! 😁
