So many ways for them to deny a price drop, different room category, different deck, different sale booking. On Monday my booking had rooms available on my deck but forward instead of middle, 30 feet or so from my cabin, said it was a different category.

It helps when you know the difference between worse and worst ship. 😁

They love the 2 dollar bills! 🤣

We only use it for things we would not mind being ruined, underwear, socks, exercise clothes. The first time we used it several beige or khaki items were returned with a pink hue.

I have always experienced prompt service with an email response when I mail my documentation to them.

This was way back in 2003 on the Sensation.

Are the Carnival gift cards always available to purchase? I was also wondering if you use a Carnival Mastercard will you receive credit as a Carnival purchase for 2 x points?

We have purchased Cheers on 3 day cruises but never on 7 or 8 days, can't drink that much. We did take advantage of the pitchers of beer from the Red Frog Pub on our last cruise, you save a little over buying individual beers.

On our last cruise on the Sunshine we discovered the walls in our balcony cabin on deck 6 mid ship were not magnetic, and only the suction cup hooks were useful so you may want to bring both.

I had a similar problem booking and prepaying a spa sale where they billed my wife the difference when she used it and I had to spend some of my cruise at guest services getting it resolved.

I won't do it again.

I remember the house band and the cruise director were dressed up, but don't recall seeing any passengers dressed in 80's outfits.

We were on board for the Dec 14th sailing to Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk. We really enjoy the Ocean Plaza layout of bandstand, Alchemy Bar, and Red Frog Pub which has one of the better layouts. The current house band of RB and the Sunshine Band are right up there with the best we've seen in 25 cruises. Having them perform here instead of a smokey stage in front of the casino bar on Conquest class ships allows the audience to sit on front of the band instead of finding seats along the sides facing the slot machines and smokers. 

The Piano Bar was disappointing with no fixed seating around the piano and the PBE playing an electronic keyboard sitting on top of the piano. We left after one song.

We had YTD in the Sunrise dining room deck 3 aft, and checked in at the Ocean Plaza on deck 5. For some reason this freaked out a lot of people who had never experienced it before, but it helped to keep a long line forming back into the elevator lobby.

The Serenity area is one of the best and we never had a problem getting a clam shell.

The lido buffet seemed to flow very well, and we enjoyed the omelet stations when we didn't eat in the dining room for brunch.

The cruise director Mikey was high energy and very funny.

We did not go to any comedy shows because of the poor design of the Limelight Lounge. We were not willing to stand in line for an hour to get a seat where you could actually see the stage. Late comers get to watch monitors on the sides.

The Liquid Lounge is smaller than other theaters and has movable seating on the floor that can make viewing the stage difficult if someone large is seated in front of you, and no tables to sit your drinks on.

Complaints aside, we still consider The Sunshine one of our favorite ships.

On our first cruise you had to wear your (smelly) life jacket at the muster drill and we learned not to be first ones there and pinned next to the back wall in the Florida heat waiting for the drunks to arrive!

Same here, when I close and reopen it stops.

I have also tried tipping the steward something extra the first day, and was underwhelmed with the results.

The Bariju  cabanas appear to be a 20 minute ride from the port, not on the right as you enter Margaritaville as OP mentioned.

I like reserving a cruise for 2 years for only $50 a person, no sense letting them use my money for free!

Battery operated tea lights, magnet hooks, small surge protector, a hat that can lay flat in your suitcase, towel clips, coozies for port beers, a watch if you don't wear one to stay on ship's time when in port, a separate card to use for the safe, I use a Best Western or AAA card that's not a credit card and keep it with my sign and sail, a large mug to use instead of the tiny cups on lido.

We're on the 12/14 sailing and can't wait to board the Sunshine again! Have they found a better way to seat the comedy club, or do you still have to stand in line for an hour?

Bring a bigger mug for your coffee, those cups are way too small.
