Are the room safes keypads or card readers?
Thanks

Lipstick on a pig. Sorry. Yes the cabins are all redone, but there is still rust on the balconies and wear in other areas leftover from when it was the Triumph. It is obvious that the Sunshine is NOT a new ship, just a renamed one.
I thought they were asking about the Sunrise.

Another vote here for pink Himalayan.

I don't dine with strangers when I'm at home, why would I do it when I'm on vacation? The last time we did on a cruise, we were unable to get a table for two on the first night, this was before YTD. The guy sitting across from me in a booth, talked while he ate and literally spit food on me, a big chunk of lettuce. It was disgusting.
The person who proposes getting a big table is probably one of the reasons I don't.

No regrets, and those would be two silly reasons to have regrets over cruises that I have booked.

If you have My choice, it will automatically alert you of any shipment on the way if you set up alerts in your account. Ask it to alert you when anything is shipped and again when there is delivery info.
That sounds pretty cool, I will check it out.
Thanks everyone for the help!

I watch my account on AARP. The day AFTER it shows my order has shipped I phone them and they have always given me the tracking number.
OK so you do actually need a tracking number.

Just from experience being members of these rewards programs. Orders under $500 are shipped USPS and don't need a signature. Orders $500 & up ship UPS and do require a signature.
So you can just search your name on MyChoice and find your shipment with UPS?
-
How would you know it was UPS? I wasn't given anything that indicated who they were shipping with or a tracking number of any kind.
Also I said final pay by of November 17th by mistake, it was really September 17th, a little more urgent for me. 😀
-
FYI, I had to order my gift cards later than I expected due to Hurricane Dorian. I needed by November 17th final pay by date but the uncertainty of whether I would have house damage and delivery issues after a hurricane caused me to wait.
I ordered on 9/3, they said they shipped on 9/4, and I received them on 9/9. There was no way to track (there was a Track button on the My Rewards page but it did not function) and when UPS delivered, I was not home and they left them with a neighbor. I thought a signature was required with $3000 in gift cards, but I was thankful when my neighbor knocked and gave them to me.

If people went by the bad ship reviews on this site no one would ever cruise. The majority of cruisers don't write reviews, and the ships continue to sail full.
The Spirit class is also our favorite but Carnival went with other designs so it is what it is. We loved the Miracle and the Legend.

I was in B4 3 weeks ago. B3 is in Northern Lights Dining room, the mid-ship dining room, lower level. B4 was on the upper level of the dining room.
Thanks!

Could you tell me where B3 is located on the Magic? Thanks!
-
Yes it is open each morning, we enjoy this rather than the Lido options.

If Carnival had the entertainment staff do the dancing in the dining room instead of the waiters, you could retain the tradition without slowing down the service or increasing costs.

We stopped buying excursions and just take taxis to the places we want to go in port, cheaper and we get to stay longer than the excursions normally allow. Not so much a 180 but more of when you have figured out what you like and don't like while cruising.
-
I also can't believe people complain about a gift.

What is the average delivery time for those that have purchased the Carnival gift cards?

Even better(4.5%)r! Why sell if it is performing well, plus the quarterly dividends, plus the OBC benefits?
Quit while you're ahead! The only way to win while gambling. 😎

4.5% yield, OBC on a B2B in December, sell the stock after. Nice return.
