On Volendam now and went through the canal on the 22nd. No certificate either. They have even decreased number of advertisements sent out to a half a sheet printed both sides. They are inserted in some of the dailies.

Good morning all, This was a few hours ago, off the coast of Mexico. Sending thoughts and prayers for Brenda and Kazu today with their surgeries. Has anyone had this? Apparently it’s new: We were talking with our pastor a few days after a local (small) earthquake. (That quake was essentially a very little jolt and wobble.) (Our town has a fault that occasionally gets active.) He’s from the south and only came to SoCal a few years ago. Several of us were wondering what his response to the earthquake would be. He seemed to think that was typical for earthquakes and no big deal. We’re all wondering what his reaction will be when we get the next significant one. 😉 (They aren’t even related.) Canaletto steward told us last night the new menu will roll out on Rotterdam soon. Chicken parmigiana, jumbo shrimp and one other will become part of the everyday menu. They are the most popular. Currently price on Volendam:

LOL! We’re currently on Volendam and have been enjoying a very talented duo ( piano and cello). They have played most nights in the “stage” area that was LC (previously part of the Explorers Lounge). They have been typically playing a couple 45 minute themed sets (last night was Russian composers) in the afternoon and 2-3 in the evening. The sets have been the same on a given day (as far as I am aware.) I don’t think the idea was to spend the evening there….. and personally for me, I would prefer different content from set to set, and spend the evening there.

Interesting. Several years back security at Cano stopped me, asked me what was in my water bottle and shook it. I later learned here that booze makes small bubbles when shook.
