I saw the new trailer for the new season of Below Deck Med with Captain Sandy. Looks interesting as Aiesha is coming on board to be chief stew.

What I’m confused about is that it was my understanding that the new season of Below Deck Sailing would be airing after Below   Deck season 11. I wonder what happened?

I believe I read that the new Below Deck season with Captain Sandy and Aisha begins in June🤔

BD season 11 still has 4 charters left, I think, which could possibly be shown in the next two or three weeks🤔

Thank you ALL for the well wishes.

I'm thoroughly moved by some many of you who posted.

The happy reunion. From 5C to 34C in one day....

DH didn't cook much, apart from chopped liver, since until the last moment we didn't know what the "situation" will be and if they'll make it here.

He'll start tomorrow on the chicken soup and, more important, on the "gefilte fish". There will be also a new "edition" of chopped liver for the second "seder" on Sunday night.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!  I'm sure you are/will be enjoying this visit to the fullest!❤️

The smiles on everyone's faces tell it all!!!🥰

Speaking of "geilte fish"...as Jim and I were driving home on our last day of our trip from Naples, we were listening to a radio station that was talking about the many dishes that are part of your Culture.  I always wondered what "gefilte fish" was but never checked it our.  So, as Jim was driving, I googled what it was and how it is made.  Sounds like I would enjoy it!  I've always loved and enjoyed Matzos...especially with butter and salt.

Enjoy your Passover, my friend!  Looking forward to meeting you and DH on our Bella Cruise!❤️

Echoing Lenny's post.  For those celebrating, have a meaningful Passover.  Tonight starts Passover; mainly no bread, pasta, pastries of any kind that contain flour.

This is a very emotional holiday for me personally.  Tomorrow marks the anniversary of my mom's passing.  Each year at this time, I use her huge Passover pot to make chicken soup.  As the soup simmers, I tear up thinking of wonderful memories.

Tonight our family (11 of us) gather for our special "seder" holiday meal.  We go around the table and each of us tells mostly funny stories about mom.

Hoping your memories are as happy as mine!

Thinking of you today, Bonnie, on the Anniversary of your Mom's Passing.

I hope you and your family had a great seder while sharing joyful reminiscing stories about your Mom.🌹  Happy Passover to you, Jack, and your family.

10 days of "nail biting" and emotional roller coaster ended today.

After the last week Iranian attack upon Israel, most of the airlines cancelled, again, their flights.

DS2 was supposed to arrive for the Passover holiday Saturday, the 20th. Rental car with 48 hours free cancellation.

Checking with the airline early Thursday (18th) -- the flight is a "go".

Friday morning "we" retaliate (who thought to attack Iran a couple of days before the Passover, with the risk of returning everyone of us to the shelters again??? no answer from "above").....

In no time at all, DS2's flight was cancelled. The airline agreed to reroute them via Paris. He counts himself lucky... Friends of his, who already checked their bags Friday morning, were rerouted via.... Abu Dhabi, spending the night flying East in order to get West.

Finally, we were reunited with our grands late this afternoon. What a huge relief and joy !!

Such wonderful news, Dani!!!  Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy Passover!!

Enjoy your visit all together.  How long will DS2 , your DIL and two adorable grandsons be with you, DH, and DS1? 🌹

  5. @bobmacliberty  I remember when you posted about all of the damage from the movers.  When we moved, we had been packing for quite some time, we had a huge dumpster that we discarded lots and lots of stuff.  We had been living in our home for 42 years;  we had a big, walk-around attic, and garage full of our (divorced) daughters furniture, and a basement full of Jim's many tools, etc.  We hired a mover who took all of our furniture as well as boxes.  We moved an hour away from our old home.  We have a SIL who has a pickup truck, who was also quite helpful with our moving things we'd had in storage.  Luckily for us, our move went smoothly.
