  1. I see same issue this morning and I also tried MS EDGE browser which I rarely use and same thing there. Princess messing with the deck plans?
  2. Weekend system maintenance perhaps? I just saw same thing.
  3. All major Canadian airports have US CBP pre-clearance. That said, it is pretty much only the major airports I expect that have flights into US airports.
  4. Login to MC App. Tap on your Profile Photo at top left of main screen. (There is a yellow dot in upper right corner of your photo which indicates you are not on a ship; otherwise green). Next, a new window panel opens from the left side of the screen. Your profile photo now has your Name beside it and on the right edge of the photo, left of your name, is your Captain's Circle emblem. Color should match your member level (in my case it is black for Elite).
  5. But the ratio of the three is obviously critical to final flavor profile. Nonetheless, it is obvious flavor cannot be replicated since the base coffee is different.
  6. Since Covid-19, another savings is they no longer slide printed copies under stateroom doors on the last night (according to many reports from folks who have taken cruises). I have noticed a lot of hotels doing the same and just sending final bill via email. Works for me. Only problem is with Princess, you cannot call back to the hotel front desk (unless you want to pay ship-to-shore phone rates, including waiting on hold while they look into it). That leaves dealing with PCL HQ which can be a time-consuming task for sure.
  7. I read it as the poster's TA works for the agency that offers the annual 3DS.
  8. I'd be surprised if there is such a service unless you are a hotel guest at the Pan Pacific.
  9. FWIW, first I am reading this about vaccination card upload. Have you tried "tricking" the App by turning your phone, so that if the photo turns again, it will be oriented as you expect?
  10. True. I now recall this happening a lot in Europe. The carafe comes with the wine measured to a line and then poured into the glass. What I meant was a glass standing on the bar either with a line or filled to a point with water and then the server/bartender can pour wine into an empty glass beside the reference glass up to the same point. Someone else mentioned this above.
  11. Why not see if the new person seems to be able to help. If they can, great. If not, send them an email and let them know you have another CVP and don't need whoever this new person is (they don't need to know you are not interested in your "default" CVP. As for the original one, hmmm.... tell him you have an issue with State Department and our passport was cancelled and you currently cannot leave the country for five years. You will contact him once the situation is resolved and you are able to travel again.
  12. I am thinking a lot of Princess customers would love to have their issues solved as easily as yours seem to be. Lucky guy.
  13. I have seen establishments with a reserved glass marked such that a pour can be measured to standing beside it.
  14. This isn't the point. Not all of us are on the PLUS. What should be is a reasonable pour based on at least 1/5 btl (150 ml or 5 oz, but a lot of restaurants offer 6oz std or 9oz extra).
  15. Been so long since I ordered a glass in the DR, not sure, but I might think a standard pour would be at least 5 ounces and that means 5 glasses per bottle (150 ml pour of 750 ml btl). 6 is NTH for sure. 3/4 is ridiculous and never saw such a thing on PCL.
  16. Of course. You need the right table cloth to enhance the food flavors.
  17. I believe what was posted was the regular customer service hours and not the actual CR dept hours. I have to agree with @Coral - I don't think the CR team is there on weekends. Perhaps a skeleton person or two? I do think they have reservation escalation people there on weekends.
  18. I keep old phones around just for that purpose.
  19. Thanks. So, it seems you saved $200 on the cruise fare, plus $300 OBC. That sounds pretty good. Not sure the length of voyage, nor the pricing. I was probing a bit since I have never seen the 3-day sale beating my TA prices and some other members had posted they didn't think this year's sale was all that great compared to past years. ETA: PS - we also book the Saver/Standard fare as we can get the internet quite inexpensive, plus we get a bar setup for each voyage, and I usually bring my own wine on board.
  20. I am not sure what your refund issues have to do with a new booking and getting the best price and perks combination. The main reason we cannot post directly about TA recommendations is because the organization that sponsors this website is also an online TA (just look at the links at the top of the page like "Deals" and "Find a Cruise"). In terms of finding a TA, many posters will refer to the "Big Box" agency and it is pretty well-known what that store is. Others like the large agency with many small B&M locations that just had their annual "3-day sale". Many of us use other independent TA's who often work for online agencies and provide more service than a faceless "Big Box". The best thing you can do is ask a friend if you have one that cruises Princess a lot and see of they can refer you to someone. Otherwise, you can ask some fellow cruisers on your next voyage, or ask around at the Meet&Greet session if there is one. Another option is to try on your own to find agencies that will compete for your business once you know a cruise voyage you wish to book.
  21. Well, it is really just another avenue into the MC system, so I am not surprised. Based on other CC members posting on Princess board, it seems very challenging to get this fixed and many reports of what I would call non-responsive OCEAN reps. It seems to be this HAS to be a VERY well-known issue at this point and so I am somewhat surprised when reps seem to react like it isn't endemic in the system. I do know if I was blocked from booking dining, I'd be raising holy hell with them because I would be being penalized from getting dining which disappears by the week with more guests using it. I'd also be upset about my advance internet booking, but at least that could wait until much closer to sail date. But not DMW - especially after FP Date when everyone and their uncle can book dining.
  22. My experience is whenever booking Premium Economy or Business with EZ-Air, most airlines allow immediate seat selection within EZ-Air as part of the process before completing the booking. One can always go to the airline website and check there to see that they have it in their system. Have not had a problem losing a seat selection - unless the airline made an equipment change. It pays to keep an eye on reservations in both EZ-Air and the airline.
  23. How much better was the price than on Princess.com? The PLUS package is only included if you pay the higher fare for it. There would have been a Standard fare available at a lower price point - but if looking for the PLUS, then great.
  24. Login to princess.com. Pull up your booking in Cruise Personalizer. In small type, there is a link "Try our Web Version" below the icons for downloading the MC App for Android and Apple. This is the linked URL: https://oceanready-personalinfo-ui.prod.ocean.com/ Once there, you have to login again as there is no single-signon support with Princess.
