I have a friend who is a TA. I always look for the cruise I want, then I email her with the price that I found for what ever cruise it is. She tells me whether she can beat the price or not. Usually, she will beat the price plus OBC. There was only one time that I found a price that she could not beat. She told me to book it through the website. If there is a price drop, she will let me know that she got a better price and take care of it. Plus I love knowing that if I have any problems, she will be there to help me.

I wish Royal Caribbean would use the same suite classifications across the whole fleet. Royal class on some ships, and sea, sky, star on others. It would make it so much easier to know what perks the different suites get.

Is a Royal Genie and a Concierge the same thing?

. I also have food allergy so cross contamination is a real problem for me. I am always wary of buffets. RCI making them self serve again just puts the final nail in that coffin. 😃

We like embarking in Puerto Rico. Love San Juan. Embarking in Tampa is nice as well. I can say that the one I would like to NEVER cruise from again is Galveston. Embarking from there is a nightmare.

These people are no different than the people who get on a ship with Noro Virus. They don't care what happens to others, as long as they get to do what they want. So, wear a mask if it makes you feel safer, Wash your hands often, and don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth. We for sure will NOT be eating in Windjammer.

I am hoping someone who lives in Vancouver, BC or someone who has sailed out of Vancouver can answer this question for me. We are cruising out of Vancouver in October. We are flying in 3 days early, so we will need to take our Pre-cruise covid test in Vancouver. We are staying downtown near the cruise port. Are there any Walgreens, CVS, Rexall, etc. where we can have the tests administered? Or would it be easier to just purchase the proctored tests from RC and make the appt. for the proctoring?

On a cruise out of Houston, my DH had a half full bottle of water. He wanted to use it because it had a flip top lid. Security said he had to throw it out. DH asked if it was empty could he keep it. Security said yes, so he chugged the water in front of her. She looked shocked, but he kept his bottle. 😂

What I really don't understand is how a MAJOR company like RCI can have such a horrible IT department. This is not a post covid thing, RCI (and Celebrity as well) have had terrible IT issues and their websites have not been user friendly for years.
