Thank you. This is what I was thinking.

Can anyone advise what the current corkage fee is for a bottle of champagne/wine to drink in restaurant or lounge. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your informative reply. Just to confirm you can take bottles of spirits (liquor) and or wine champagne to consume in your cabin?

Thankyou, located the 83 pages of information. I was just wondering the following: are there any soft drinks/water at the 24 hour drinks station? is the Mini Bar included as the brochure states fully stocked and no little asterisk to say charges apply? are the l’occitane toileries individual bottles or large pump bottles stuck to the wall. Thank you in advance

Sorry to hijack. But I couldn’t find the thread “all about Avalon” can you post the link please? Thank you.

Really! Did you actually experience this?

Can anyone please give an insight from experience what NCL do if the airline cancels the flight on day of embarkation. I know some will say travel a few days before but sometimes logistically this cannot be done, so any advice on what NCL will actually do would be appreciated. TIA

Venice.

In what way?

Business. No first class within Europe. We had to purchase this as an addition to cruise fare.

Booked Haven Suite, and both air and transfers direct with NCL. Anyone experienced in how this works at arrivals airport, transfer, baggage and check in. TIA.

Are Celebrity alienating UK Passengers if so why?
scottie920 replied to scottie920's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Thank you for your reply however with respect this is missing the point. Apart from currency fluctuations all passengers should pay the same price for product and services at the time of advertisement/booking independently which geographical are they book from. -
Are Celebrity alienating UK Passengers if so why?
scottie920 replied to scottie920's topic in Celebrity Cruises
As OP, we have read all the comments with interest. Thank you. Not surprisingly it is weighted between those who have and those who have not. We have been on numerous Celebrity Cruises and cannot recall where the UK (European) were given such a fantastic deal on excursions and drinks/dining packages. Just the standard 5%. (or CC discount). Yes, UK passengers can book with USA Travel agents to obtain the reduced fares, discounts, OBC etc but why should we have to? If Celebrity think it is advantageous to introduce a ‘special offer’ in my view this should apply worldwide not to a geographical area. I am sorry but I do think this is isolating UK/EU. Before you comment we agree it’s choice and we understand if we don’t like it, cancel or don’t book, which is fine we will. But is this where Celebrity are heading? Very sad if they are. -
Flash sales for excursions/drink packages etc for or North American/Australasia colleagues. Nothing whatsoever for UK passengers as far as I can see. The difference financially is around 40% on same cruise. For example excursion UK site £205 per person.USA site $145 (£113) per person. I can completely understand these passengers booking at these extremely good prices and well done if you have been fortunate to do so but why should UK passengers have to pay more for the same experience. Surely we should all pay the same amount for excursions or are Celebrity expected UK passengers to subsidise others.

Nothing showing in my App or Planner in UK only normal 5% off if booked prior to cruising. Why the anomaly? How far off are the guests embarking? Does it relate to category of cabin? Just some thoughts

Eliminating Butlers - Spoke to Celebrity. Here is conversation.
scottie920 replied to LMHSRN's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I don’t know how Celebrity can take this attitude. I assume a lot of Sky Suite and Aqua Sky Suite passengers booked some time ago when the list of services included the statement ‘Butler’. I think for new bookings it now states ‘Retreat Butler’ so IMO there is clearly a reduction in service, dedicated butler to one shared by a number of suites. It is early days of the changes so hoping those who experience this ‘new’ Sky Suite service will post how it has affected their experience. -

I think you have hit the nail on the head. Celebrity should honour the service offered at the time of booking, otherwise offer some sort of financial compensation or cancellation without penalties. As far as I can see from this thread, Sky Suite guests have paid for a service that is not now being provided.
