Good Morning from a warm and overcast day at the beach Not sure what the weather is going to do today. It is what it is. Lots of graduation tassels this time of year. The blueberry almond tart sounds really good. May have to try it. Never been to todays port. Very busy weekend here in Cocoa Beach. The boat races are this weekend. There is a parade of all the boats this afternoon coming down A1A. They will be all lined up downtown tonite which is also Friday Fest. Tomorrow are the trials and Sunday the races. Throw in a launch tonite and the usual cruise traffic and it will be bedlam! Going out early this AM to stock up for the weekend. Then staying put! Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

I dont have a link. It was a conversation. Someone had said they did not receive the fees from the cruise line . So I just wanted to make sure my original thoughts were correct.

I always thought that port fees and taxes were refundable. I heard yesterday that this may no longer be true. Does anyone have any experience with this? Questioning due to calculating the total cost for insurance. Thanks!

Debbie, 3 feet is way to shallow for water aerobics. The theory is it is suppose to add resistance. You will not get that if the water is not deep enough.You will put too much pressure on your joints. Maybe others will complain also. Some of my classes are in “ deep water” ( can’t touch) I hope they can come to a solution . Water aerobics is a wonderful effective exercise.

Good Morning from a warm and sunny day at the beach It reached over 9 again yesterday but we had some nice ocean breezes. No rain in the forecast but come June, it will be every day. Never been to todays port, pictures are beautiful. I was at an event last weekend and met a fellow cruiser. She is the neighbor of a friend. Talking to her she will be on the 25 WC with us. This is her 3rd WC. So we are getting together so I can "pick her brain". So many questions! We wont be able to fully appreciate all the ports because DD comes with us. DH and I split up sometimes so we each can enjoy one. So it takes planning. I am just very blessed that I am able to go at all! Sandi @StLouisCruisers Safe travels to FL tomorrow. Scrubbed again, they will try again today. In the meantime Spacex launched again yesterday afternoon. I was on the golf course and it was beautiful. Although the rumble came during my backswing and I almost fell over! @kazu Dont you worry about complaining. That is what we all here for, to hold each other up during good and bad times. Good Morning from a warm and sunny day at the beach I really enjoy this time of year. Weather is good, crowds are gone, life is good. Didnt know wearing 2 different shoes had its own day. I actually did this once at work. Was hurrying, doing multiple things. Got to work and my co-worker said "i like the navy". I was embarrassed but we all had a good laugh. Gone with the Wind is one of my favorite books ( and movie). Have watched it several times. Busy weekend. All good. Called Luggage Forward yesterday to make arrangements for my luggage for the VOV. Was shocked at the rise in price. Still worth it for us.DH says there is a price for convenience. Sandi @StLouisCruisers Congrats to Morgan. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit Good Morning from a sunny day at the beach We went to Alaska in 2001 on our first HAL cruise, the Statendam. Had been on other lines previously but first on HAL. Returned in 2014. Enjoyed Juneau although we had an incident on the Tram. Will never go on another because it scared me so much. I still have heart palpitations thinking of it. The best whale watch I ever did was in Juneau. @kazu Warm thoughts being sent to you today. Glad to read that you enjoying your cruise @RMLincoln Hope DH`s eye is doing better. Another busy day for me. Yesterday was nuts, topping it off with the AC tech saying we need a new unit! We asked for a 2nd opinion with the same result.
