    I check weekly and just had a price drop on our drink package for 62.99pp per day. So cancelled current price and rebooked. This just happened. So sales do happen anytime. Not just on Black Friday. Actually the last few Black Fridays there was no better deals to be made for our bookings. I find the deals at random times thru out the year.

    Worked good for us . They happened to have drink package on sale yesterday that was cheaper then what we paid. So I cancelled and rebooked with my Amex Card.

    We sail April 14th and it has been showing for us for a week now.

    This coupon book was thru my email to be printed , it said they are now digital.

    We haven't sailed Carnival in 10 years and just got off a cruise last month with the free balcony, 200.00 casino play, 200.00 obc, and I had drinks everywhere and hubby had free drinks in the casino only. So its a crap shoot. But know I did book with them again for same stuff minus drinks everywhere only in casino free.

    I didn't have any problems as I have done this with RCCL and I use the card all the time.

    You can dispute the charge and they won't charge interest till its all settled.

    That's good to know as I have read that those large mini suite balconys are great to have except for when sailing. Thank you for letting me know .

    Hopefully it is not the ones up front that you can only use the balcony when in port. They lock the balcony when sailing so you can't go out. Let us know how it works out for you.

    Did you speak to a manager? Doesn't matter that it was free, that is unacceptable. I would have been so upset. What room number as our group is staying there next month .

    Did you have the drink package? We have never been charged drink taxes out of Miami with RCCL and just cruised out of there. We get the drink package so maybe thats why as its been paid for already.

    Not stirring the pot at all . Just curious as to why Carnival charges drink tax in Miami and other cruise lines don't. Its a valid question. And I know they don't allow cheers from some ports on first day as that is the same for other cruise lines as well.

    It amazes me that Carnival charges tax at the port when getting drinks. Yet Princess and RCCL don't charge any tax on drinks. So is Carnival keeping that tax money?

    What cabin as we have 9 cabins on deck 7 next month.

    Sad thing is they remove tips not for service but because they are CHEAP.
