What is so yummy about Chop's for breakfast. On recent Oasis sail, I was looking forward to lunch with Officers, but was quite disappointed this time around. Ordered the NY strip and it was so chewy, that I barely ate it. However, did enjoyed the dessert.

Do we know if Customs still practice having dogs go around luggages to smell for drugs, etc.

Again, the question is why a copy or fax of a birth certificate acceptable, but not a copy of passport. Also, the individual has Global Entry card which is as valuable as a passport with fingerprints on file with US Customs. At same time passports do not require fingerprints.

Also, it is embarking or debarking. Same happened to my son and he was bonged as he was getting off. Security pulled him aside. DL concierge asked him to follow him, but he would not tell him the reason. Like it's a big damn secret. He had purchased a watch and I assume that Royal informed Customs of such purchase. He paid his fine, but Customs did not go thru the family bags.

I don't get a monthly newsletter and did not know that there was one and also and I'm at 425. However, I do get individual announcements e.g.; recent drink vouchers time changes and D+ exclusion from the CL. I do get a ton of notices as my sail gets closer to the embarkation date.

Funny, some years ago prior to 9/11 I was traveling to Toronto Canada and as I approached Canadian Customs, I realized that I had forgotten my passport. They allowed me in based on my DL. However, I was concerned on way back to the States. Called my wife and asked to Fax my passport to our Toronto office. The faxed copy was accepted by US Customs. Big Sigh of relief. Again, this was prior to 9/11 and don't know what would have happened in today's environment

Even though I have everything that I need, yet when I'm on the NJ turnpike going to airport I get concerned/doubts that I missed something. On my Oasis December 4th cruise, I was halfway to the airport and some doubts cross my mind. So, I stopped on shoulder and checked my documents.😜 In this situation, couldn't you have used your driver's license in lieu of passport.

Any help would be appreciated. Sail is scheduled on Harmony in early December '23.

Hey John, when did Royal begin awarding 2X points for suites. I took a sail on Vision from L.A. in 2003 in a JS and when they converted points to nights, I was told that it wasn't available at that time, therefore no add'l credit.

I'm ok with the current selections. However, concerns me that there may be some downgrades.

Haven't got mine yet. Maybe one can choose 2X attendant cabins serviceor we choose for you.🤣

You should have no problems if you select traditional. Royal has not been able to handle MTD ever since it was introduced. On my recent Oasis sail in early December there was table, as you entered the MDR on the 4th deck, set up for 20+ diners/family. This was early traditional seating.

We could also blame the extra night point for the Suite guests.🤣

First of all, D+ are not allowed in the CK. How, the problem was not the D+ tier level but his/her staying in the JS. To alleviate what you consider/indicate a problem, in this case, is not allowing JS Paxs in CK. Stop dumping on us lowly D+s. We don't go around flashing our gold badges.😄

Some of the shows had to be rejiggered due to ships movement. One night the aqua show was delayed some 1 hour awaiting the go from the captain.

One of the better layouts of the WJ is on the Anthem. Was the same on Quantum when I sailed her before she was shipped to the Far East. For breakfast they have multiple omelet stations and for lunch multiple pasta stations. Never had the opportunity to dine for dinner.

I'll tell you one that does not make sense. Received a 10% off a future cruise credit due to some cabin issues on Oasis. Received an email for amounts that were odd and did not make sense. Replied to the individual attached to the email for an explanation l. A week later I get a canned response from their sister company "Silversea." At this point, I noticed my booking number attached to the e-mail. I assumed that they were sharing resources. So, I Called Silversea and the Agent was totally perplexed as he found no record of sending the e-mail. I explained to the Agent what I thought was the issue and he promised that he would re-route it to proper RCL unit. Still waiting for an explanation.
