  1. Yes. You just need to have wifi on and connect the ships network. No charge. YET.
  2. Again statements without any documentation.
  3. And how many people do that? And how many are thrn documented to have spread noro?
  4. There are many proven ways to transmit norovirus. Filling water bottles has never been one of them..Mostly bathroom transmission, food handling and contaminated tables and railings.
  5. So who has the statistics on the number of people getting sick from these unhealthy water bottle fill ups? If it is such a problem surely someone has researched a cause and effect from this type of action?
  6. Where buying either package for us is the fact that both in the cabin MUST purchase a package . DW does not drink, rarely uses WIFI do the only benefit for her would be the gratuities. So at $120.00 per day for the cabin it comes to over $840.00 extra for the cabin just for the Plus package. Not even a consideration for us.
  7. Or have them pay a fee to spend a day in the life of a lower deck crew member. Like laundry, stores, environment or even kitchen clean up. No refunds once started.
  8. When I heard of a port stop in Yorktown my DW and I both agreed that "Somebody is not going to like this at all. We both have been there from land trips and could not see a good reason to stop there and flood the town with all those passengers.
  9. They would notice it the first time they tried to leave or return to the ship, purchase something or try to get into their cabin. Yes it could be awhile.
  10. We have gotten the watch band style holder and they have held up thru numerous cruises. Price not to bad at around $10-12.
  11. Also plan to spend 2 days at Denali lodge and take the longer Tundra Wilderness tour.
  12. If I had just those two for a choice I would take the Southbound trip. There is a long bus ride from Anchorage to the port in Whittier in order to board. A much shorter taxi, bus or Sky train ride to the airport in Vancouver. All else looks to be about the same. Definitely take a trip that goes to Glacier Bay if it is likely to be a once in a lifetime trip. We would choose the Royal but many would go with the smaller Sapphire. Do some research on both and make a decision.
  13. Okay $20 for a cruise bad but $60.00+ a day for drinks and other benefits including shipping good?
  14. How many people even are even aware of what kind of footwear some one is wearing? And how long after can you even describe them?
  15. Did the cruise first and was exhausted on the flight home from the land tour as there is so much to do. Land first is more expensive as it is the preferred way by many. As always it is your choice.
  16. Also would do land tour first then cruise. More relaxing that way. Would also do two days in Denali in order to take the Tundra Wilderness tour which goes further into Denali Park. Agreed with getting a TA to help with the details.
  17. Due to medical reasonsI always wear socks with my crocs.
  18. Increase the cost of each cruise by $20.00 ( cost of two Medallions per cabin). Who would even notice or care?
  19. There should be no shipping fee if Princess requires it. Used to be that way. We will pick ours up at the pier.
  20. Tipping is one of those private things that no one really keeps track of. We tip as we feel appropriate and do not worry about what others do or think.
  21. Is it a guarantee. Should find out at check in, hopefully.
