Gerry, I am sorry that I complained about the cold earlier this week, that didn't mean you had to send us some of your weather to show what cold is. Currently we are at -15 F with a wind chill of -35 F. The expected high for the next 3 days is -10 F. I give up, you win.

Gerry, I thought it was cold here, but after seeing your temps, I am enjoying the warmth here.

I think this weekend is going to be a great weekend for hot toddies. Currently 2 degrees F, and this weekend the high is forecast to be below 0 F each day. Wind chills to be minus 30 F. I had better hit the liquor store to prepare.

Jacqui, Glad to hear that nothing was broken. That darn black ice can be so treacherous, I have been surprised a few times myself on it. Hope the bruises and aches heal quickly.

They were well behaved, but it did seem that every time they walked by our seats it was with a beer in hand. That is why my sister knew what brand of beer they liked. That is a long flight so you can drink a few beers and still have time for a nap or two.

This would be a great drink if you left out the ginger ale and the club soda.

I do have a Globetrotters story to share. My sister, niece, and myself, were on a flight to Australia years ago, and the Globetrotters were on the same flight as us. If you thought that you had to enjoy a long flight in cramped seats, can you imagine how those guys had to feel as they were a foot taller than we were. They were walking around the plane almost the whole trip, stretching their legs. The only complaint came from my sister, as she complained that they drank all the beer she liked on the long flight over to Sydney.
