  1. The jumbo shrimp cocktail, the ribeye with baked potato, and the not so classic baked Alaska.
  2. The fig and banana parfait, the salmon chowder in a bread bowl, the Kodiak steak skillet, and the triple berry tart. I always overdo it at brunch.
  3. The minestrone, calamari, the lamb chops, and pistachio gelato for me please.
  4. RedneckBob, if you are looking for volunteers, count me in.
  5. Sorry to hear that, Roy. I hope that you have a mild case of it and are soon feeling better.
  6. The salmon chowder, the broiled salmon, and the lemon cheesecake for me.
  7. Lois, Thanks for taking us along with you. I hope you have a safe trip home. Neil
  8. Squirrel, Squirrel, Gray Squirrel. Hope you all have a great September.
  9. Lois, I hope you have a great cruise. The drive to Southhampton is long, but still a pretty drive through the English Countryside. Bon Voyage. Neil
  10. RedneckBob, It is nice to see that you are a Louden Wainright fan. I remember when that song came out. There was another one about that time, but I don't remember who it was by. It was Everyone Loves a Nut, The Whole World Loves a Weirdo, Brains are in a Rut, But Everyone Loves a Nut.
  11. Roy, at least you know the device works well, when it goes off before you even get it.
  12. Lovely flowers as usual Jacqui. Thanks for sharing them with us.
  13. VictOriann, Your Dahlias are beautiful. Between you and Jacqui, you give us a little beauty to enjoy from time to time.
  14. In honor of Redneck Bob's jokes. You may be a Redneck if your family tree has no branches. You may be a Redneck if you go to family reunions to pick up women. You may be a Redneck if roadkill animals are considered to be an easy hunt. You may be a Redneck if your siblings are named Billy Bob, Betty Sue, and Bubba. Sorry Bob, I just couldn't resist.
  15. I am a big fan of National Book Lovers Day, as I have been an avid reader all my life. When I head out for a cruise I usually have at least 4 or 5 books stowed in my suitcase for those soothing days at sea. Nothing more relaxing than sitting on the deck, watching the sea slide by, while enjoying a good book.
  16. If anyone could play the bagpipes while walking on stilts, they would truly be the star of the show.
  17. Since we all love the sea, I thought I would share a joke I saw earlier today. Do you know how to make a Pirate very angry? It is easy, just take away the P. Now he is just irate. Dumb, maybe, but it works for me. Happy Hump Day everyone.
  18. Good news Roy. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Hope you are soon back aboard a ship relaxing at sea.
  19. I also love cows. Think of the many contributions that cows have made in our lives. Milk, steak, roasts, hamburgers, brisket, beef ribs, and of course leather. I am sure that some people will think I am being a mean jerky, when it comes to cows, but the subject of cows really moooves me.
  20. Well, the drink of the Day, (Endless Summer Punch), would certainly explain why today is also, I Forgot Day. I am just saying you know.
  21. I have to do a lot of running around today, so maybe I better partake of National Prune Day to keep me on the go. Jacqui, I was a little surprised to see your dog eating peanut butter with his Doritos instead of a bowl of salsa.
