  1. Port side is the wrong side to see the Avenue of Glaciers from your cabin when traveling westbound from BA to LA. The 5 glaciers are on the north side of Beagle Channel, fed by Cordillera Darwin ice field.
  2. What is an anxiety disorder? An anxiety disorder is a type of mental health condition. If you have an anxiety disorder, you may respond to certain things and situations with fear and dread.
  3. Wow, I dind't know sea turtles go that far south in cold waters. ๐Ÿข
  4. That's not true. Sapphire Princess is an intrepid and fearless ship. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  5. My essential survial kit on Princess Cruises: The corkscrewer is available on many ships in the Princess Shops. And the wine bottle cap was a nice present from Juan from Peru, from the Vines Bar on Sapphire Princess. Never cruise without! โ˜๏ธ
  6. What a great cruise so far for you. No missed ports (witch is stunning, compared to last year), mostly very nice weather. ๐Ÿ‘
  7. Well, I was prepared, and your were prepared - checking the areas before you go. But so many cruisers don't do this.
  8. It's pretty unbelievable, because it's scenic cruising at it's best at these glaciers. 5 in a row. Btw, it was just the same on my 2017 South Ameica Cruise. No mentioning by Princess in any way.
  9. Usually, you need to set your stateroom TV on the bridge cam channel, turn the volume way, way up, and then you will hear it.
  10. This passage of the Beagle Channel is called Avenue of the Glaciers. ๐Ÿ‘ Wasn't it mentioned in the patter or from the captain?
  11. I would have taken the same. ๐Ÿ‘ Fettuccine Alfredo as a main dish? I never saw this before. I know the "Rack on Lamb" on formal nights, which has always been very good. Good to know the "Leg of Lamb" was also good. What's the difference, btw? ๐Ÿ˜„
  12. Sustainable LNG cruising is a lie, anyway. It's just greenwashing. Companies that claim to reduce their emissions by switching to LNG are giving misleading information, as LNG still is a fossil fuel. For a cruise in Europe for example, large LNG carriers first have to transport the liquid gas from the U.S. (the worldโ€™s largest LNG exporter). And these carriers run on regular, super dirty heavy fuel oil. ๐Ÿคฃ
  13. I had it twice now that the champagne waterfall was cancelled on that night due to high winds / waves. It was rescheduled on the next day. In the other case, it was rescheduled on the next formal night.
  14. Do you know if the Torres del Paine National Park Princess ShorEx (10.5 hours PUQ-155) was available today? Did they go?
  15. Image a 14 day cruise where the cabin steward doesn't clean the toilet. Enjoy the experience.
  16. Mystery meat again. Like in so many airport lounges. lol.
  17. Now I'm shocked. ๐Ÿ˜ป The new Princess standard on Patรฉs?
  18. Hm, there are also many "not good at all" reviews on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Cunard, and Viking, so what are you worrying about? You will love the Royal Princess.
  19. Page is working fine. You have to clean your browser cache & delete cookies.
  20. You should ask here, they are on board right now:
  21. Oh, indeed. ๐Ÿ˜„ For comparison - this was the included "Land and Sea" Surf & Turf on the same cruise (British isles): Nearly same size lobster, yes.
  22. No worries, this food accident is not Princess standard. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
