  1. I wonder, if this mandatory PVSA stop is listed in the cruise personalizer as a regular port stop anymore. It would make no sense.
  2. I think contract is over with them. Depending on where you cruise, Princess has some nice beers on the menu. Not so many years ago, Princess only had that main stream stuff on board. Things have changed. Enjoy your Lagunitas (lightyears better than a Miller Lite). 😁
  3. Going with teens, the better choose is the Sapphire. The sports deck is much bigger and better. Not Caribbean Princess, all agree.
  4. It's not that easy. Weather in the Drake Passage is always the thing. Whenever a large Princess ship like the Sapphire can slip thru in decent weather, they will go! Willing to leave out Cape Horn for this. This also happened last season. On all cruises. And there was no iceberg A32a in reach then.
  5. A ship under Bermuda flag running in international waters. What did you expect?
  6. As far as I remember, Cape Horn was skipped by all Princess Antarctica cruises last season. And all cruises this season too, so far. It's been a long time since I saw a Princess ship round Cape Horn on the tracking apps. Last time pre-covid. But they do advertise it. If I had the choice, I would also take Iceberg A23a instead of course.
  7. Crews are no longer tested. Why should they. They get tested if they show symptoms and show up at the doc.
  8. Covid is endemic now. Like the flu. And it's out of the mind by most people. Maybe cruising isn't the best thing if you are super cautious.
  9. Her name is Enchanted Princess. Enchantment (of the Seas) is RCL. It totally depends on where you are going to cruise. I guess it's the Caribbean, so speed should be fine. Still no guarantee though.
  10. Yes, it looks like they can be opened to both sides. https://youtu.be/uQ7cffE6t9Y?t=211
  11. It's the 2024 Sky Princess Polka Cruise. 😄
  12. No reservations via the app. No idea. No reservations required. 1st come, 1st serve. They have plenty. Spinning classes with trainer have to be reserved. Just go to the Fitness Center on the 1st day of your cruise.
  13. The Mix is the poolside bar of the Emerald. Slice is combined with Coffee & Cones on the other side of the pool.
  14. The Emerald even offers upgraded pizzas poolside. With truffel, porcini, etc. Upcharge of course. Reason might be, they have no Alfredos downstairs.
  15. Sounds good. Hope they keep the noodle bar and add pool deck pizza. The place is called Hollywood Conservatory, and it's free of charge. And not very nice.
  16. The Majestic wasn't built for the western market. It was supposed to go for the chinese market. Then came Covid.
