  1. ❄️ I wouldn't expect too much snow in August - even in Alaska. 😁 Usually shows are at 7:30 and 9:30.
  2. After you get your medallions at the cruise terminal, you can just go to the ship as Platin or Elite, instead of getting a number for a boarding group and wait in the waiting area. And there are also priority lines for getting the medallions.
  3. Yes, good to hear. They just had bad luck so far it seems. 😄
  4. I have friends on board on this sailing. So it's first hand info (these are definitely no picky people!). Not so nice stories they tell me. 😳 The pyjammas haven't been delivered by the cabin steward in 2 days now. No fresh towells - 2 nights in a row. They had to ask another(!) cabin steward to fix this. Dishes not taken away from the cabin. MDR restaurant service a disaster so far (and they tried 2 different dining rooms). Food ordered. After 30 minutes, they came with the menu again instead of the food. No wine with the main course. Just too slow service. Overchallenged and listless. Bottle of water ordered. Bottle came - without glases. Another 15 minutes. Beef filet came well instead of rare. The lobster was like rubber. No fresh pepper or parmesan offered when the food came. This is NOT Princess standard. On the other hand ... - the ship itself is is in very nice condition. - Xmas singing was much fun. - everything allright at Vines Bar (the most important thing lol). - they still have a great time on board
  5. Your departure is 2,5 hours late now. 5 cruise ships left PEV so far. Still 3 to come.
  6. People (if not bots) who post such things most likely hold hedge funds against the lines. Nice try.
  7. MedallionNet Login is shipwide with Name, Cabin Number and birth date. So yes, it is protected, but not like usual with a WPA2 password.
  8. Nothing found for July 2004, but the Star did this Itinerary in Mai 2004: Star Princess (5/16/04) from Barcelona to Venice Su 5/16 Barcelona, Spain Mo 5/17 At Sea Tu 5/18 Cannes, France We 5/19 Livorno, Italy Th 5/20 Civitavecchia, Italy Fr 5/21 Naples, Italy Sa 5/22 At Sea Su 5/23 Athens, Greece Mo 5/24 Kusadasi, Turkey Tu 5/25 At Sea We 5/26 At Sea Th 5/27 Venice, Italy Source: https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/23973-our-star-princess-honeymoon-review/
  9. A known error. I just cleared my browser cache and deleted all cookies (Chrome). After that, there was no more error message. Website and payment work fine again.
  10. A detailed description of the Emerald Princess Thermal Suite (with photos): https://vickieandbernietravel.blogspot.com/2013/02/thermal-suite.html
  11. "You can book it for a fee" is the opposite of free. 😉
  12. The Emerald now has the Thermal Spa on deck 15 instead, wich can be accessed from deck 16. It has no hydro-therapy pool like the Royal Class ships, but heated loungers, sauna and steam room. You can book it for a fee.
  13. Princess has embraced the casino experience and is proud to offer such exciting gaming 😄
  14. It's a quite place, well hidden. People go there to read a book, but not to get drinks. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/shiptour.php?r=4759 This is what it looks like. The bar is empty and there is never any stuff down there.
  15. Don't expect any bar service at the Wake View Bar. I've never seen any Princess stuff down there.
  16. It's the best thing Princess did to save money. Portions were way too large before. Remember the seafood starter with 3 types of caviar. Then it was 2 types of caviar. Now it is no caviar at all.
  17. Every day. Time & location on the patter.
