  1. Although there should be plenty at Oceanview to fill your ‘hungry’, remember there is always Room Sevice, albeit for a charge. At night in OV, I have always gotten sandwiches, cheese, salad, or pizza or pasta. Never once left hungry!

  2. We have had some elegant nights on Port days, but having very recently sailed your exact itinerary on Beyond, I would bet money that the Chic nights are nights 2 and 7, with the latter night (2nd chic night; betting day 7) having the ‘best’ menu.

  3. We had terrific experiences at Rooftop on Ascent in Dec and Feb and also on the Ascent in Jan. We don’t go there when the ship is sailing (unless we are just then leaving port) because it can get very windy. My App says it closes at 9:00 p.m. Their wings are a great starter. My DH loves the filet mignon and I have loved both the brisket and the ribs. And save room for the wonderful fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie ala mode for dessert!!

  4. Each of the MDRs has its own charms. I am sure we all may have different favorites! Why not give each of them a chance?

    Can someone recently on Beyond confirm show times? On the Ascent earlier this month, they were 7:30 and 9:30. Can’t remember about Beyond.
    But yes, scheduling dinner about 2 hours before the show sounds fine to me.

  5. @NMTraveller, Yes! You get cash from the casino if/when you win. Then you can either pocket the cash, and leave the charge on your Sea-Pass-Backed-Credit-Card, or you can take the cash and go down one deck to Guest Services and pay off what you charged (or more, or less).

    @kwokpot, Thank you!

    @PTC DAWG, It’s all good!

  6. @PTC DAWG, I understand! I HAVE set myself a limit, but do get the $$ daily on my Sea Pass for slots or tables. Why not get the credit card points on my Sea Pass account for $ I was going to spend anyway? As long as I have my limit, and pay off the credit card immediately thereafter, I, personally, don’t have a problem. YMMV.

  7. I need @kwokpot to back me up on this, but thus far I think all the answers so far pertain to a ‘cash advance on your credit card.’ HOWEVER, I do know you can spend up to $3000K per day on your Sea Pass card from the casino if you have a credit card on file for the cruise.

  8. Hi George,

    You will be in an RS, so the fee will be waived for you. Alternatively, you can use your card to put cash on slot machines, cash that out and get chips with the cash. I will help you with all the casino hacks!
