Does anyone know if they are including lounge chairs on the sunset verandas?

When I was in an Aqua Sky Suite on the Ascent in December, my balcony looked just like the one pictured in this thread. I asked our Retreat Host if we could please get 1 lounger. He asked, and told me he was told ‘no’ by his supervisor. He told me only the Sunset Sky Suites and Sunset Verandas had room for loungers. So…you’re in luck!

We are sailing on the Beyond soon.  Currently in an Aqua Class IV cabin.  If we win our move up bid to a Sky Suite or Aqua Class Sky Suite do we get free drinks in the Retreat Lounge AND the Retreat Sundeck bar, or just the lounge?  I know we do not get the premium drink package or the premium wi-fi (unless we purchase that separately)

    TIA

Just the Lounge. (Not on the Sundeck and not in Luminae.)

I concur with @CTSandy! These treasures need a home! My local fabric store gratefully takes in these items to donate to the Veterans’ hospital and/or to homeless shelters. Our animal shelter would love to have them if you can’t find a human home! Wondering how much it would cost me if you can send them to me to find them homes!

  4. Bought our 14 y.o. twin grandkids tix to Thrill Waterpark. They are both thrill seekers. They stayed 1 hour and then came to find us on the ‘free’ beach. They were able to go on 2 slides and the lines were extraordinarily long. They bailed when yet Another ship had docked and the lines got even longer. It’s not nearly as good as a day at an amusement park, and far too expensive, IMHO.

They do have 4 Ounce Filet's on the Children's Menu available and will give you more than one if you desire.

Thank you, @bnurickfor taking us along!! Great review!! If you have time, please let us know about the availability of the children’s filet in Luminae for dinner. On our Beyond cruise which ended the day you embarked, they did NOT have it. (They did, however, have it on Ascent in December.)
@Jim_Iain, Apparently different ships are doing different things. We were disappointed that the Beyond did not have it!

  6. At the risk of sounding anti-kid, I agree with @PTC DAWG. Parenting failure. I would appreciate a scream-free specialty dinner, but am probably not willing to ban all young kids. Some kids are well-behaved, and some parents would immediately remove a shrieker. How thoughtless of parents who think of nothing but themselves. (They could book an in-cabin babysitter for 2 hours if they want to go out to dinner.) C’mon, people! Specialty dining is not freakin’ McDonald’s!! If you were rude enough to do it at McDonald’s, at least I could get up and get away from you!

  7. Currently onboard, and agree with @Moby Jones’s review about the overall quality. Our sunset Sky suite on Deck 9 has mercifully been very quiet. I am very much enjoying this cruise, but have the same observations about the cutbacks. Plus, they have once again removed the 4-oz filet from the Luminae menu, event though it was available on Ascent last month.

  8. My DH and I have used the service many times in the past. As far as I know, it JUST opened up to the E-class ships. (They did not offer it on the Ascent last month.) I love it, because we aren’t doing the ‘terminal shuffle’ followed by the ‘airport shuffle’. It is so easy and convenient, IMHO.
