Eclipse is an S-Class ship. Millennium is an M-Class ship, which is an older class. Much smaller and not as many venues.

@Ex-Airbalancer, Super Bowl…in the USA this is the final, Final football 🏈 championship game of the whole year. The good news (for all) is the ship will have a party atmosphere and usually serves little nibbles (I can’t spell hors de ourves!!!) at different venues on the ship.

Does anyone know if they are including lounge chairs on the sunset verandas?
When I was in an Aqua Sky Suite on the Ascent in December, my balcony looked just like the one pictured in this thread. I asked our Retreat Host if we could please get 1 lounger. He asked, and told me he was told ‘no’ by his supervisor. He told me only the Sunset Sky Suites and Sunset Verandas had room for loungers. So…you’re in luck!

We are sailing on the Beyond soon. Currently in an Aqua Class IV cabin. If we win our move up bid to a Sky Suite or Aqua Class Sky Suite do we get free drinks in the Retreat Lounge AND the Retreat Sundeck bar, or just the lounge? I know we do not get the premium drink package or the premium wi-fi (unless we purchase that separately)
TIA
Just the Lounge. (Not on the Sundeck and not in Luminae.)

@hcat, it won’t last more than 5 minutes! But yes, you will want a table close to the windows so you won’t hear all the other conversations and dance music from the Martini Bar.
-
@kwokpotThanks, Kwok! I want to cruise with you; I like the way you think!
We were on the Ascent last month, and the Martini Bar does indeed have a flair show (with chandelier, but no acrobats!) every night. It was weird times…something like 6:15 p.m. and 10, if I recall correctly.- 1

Mast Grill definitely has soft-serve ice cream on E-class, and from memory, in other locations near the pool on M- and S- class ships! 🍦

I concur with @CTSandy! These treasures need a home! My local fabric store gratefully takes in these items to donate to the Veterans’ hospital and/or to homeless shelters. Our animal shelter would love to have them if you can’t find a human home! Wondering how much it would cost me if you can send them to me to find them homes!

Bought our 14 y.o. twin grandkids tix to Thrill Waterpark. They are both thrill seekers. They stayed 1 hour and then came to find us on the ‘free’ beach. They were able to go on 2 slides and the lines were extraordinarily long. They bailed when yet Another ship had docked and the lines got even longer. It’s not nearly as good as a day at an amusement park, and far too expensive, IMHO.

Did X provide the equipment, or did cruisers have to bring their own?

They do have 4 Ounce Filet's on the Children's Menu available and will give you more than one if you desire.
Thank you, @bnurickfor taking us along!! Great review!! If you have time, please let us know about the availability of the children’s filet in Luminae for dinner. On our Beyond cruise which ended the day you embarked, they did NOT have it. (They did, however, have it on Ascent in December.)
@Jim_Iain, Apparently different ships are doing different things. We were disappointed that the Beyond did not have it!- 1

Of course, @Jim_Iain! So happy finally to help YOU out, as you have been tremendously helpful to me!
This is on the flyer I got today from Future Cruises:
(Book NOW can be refundable, but Book Later requires non-refundable. See lines 5 & 6.)

Just picked up a ‘Future Cruise’ flyer. Indeed, in the fine print on the back, it specifically says “Book Later Program reservations require non-refundable deposit fares.”

Elegance Chardonnay, on the other hand, has been available for the entire sailing within the PDP.

I am on Beyond, and I asked again last night. No changes to the PDP during this sailing. (No Decoy or Mer Soleil available without a upcharge.) The Sommelier doesn’t know (or wouldn’t say) what will happen on the next sailing, leaving Friday.

@JDPCruisersi did ask, and the server said it is not available on this ship. They still HAVE the kids’ menu, but no 4-oz filet. Still available on the Ascent, though. 🤷🏻♀️

At the risk of sounding anti-kid, I agree with @PTC DAWG. Parenting failure. I would appreciate a scream-free specialty dinner, but am probably not willing to ban all young kids. Some kids are well-behaved, and some parents would immediately remove a shrieker. How thoughtless of parents who think of nothing but themselves. (They could book an in-cabin babysitter for 2 hours if they want to go out to dinner.) C’mon, people! Specialty dining is not freakin’ McDonald’s!! If you were rude enough to do it at McDonald’s, at least I could get up and get away from you!

@kellyco we are in 9323.

No. According to the notice I received, there is a spot to indicate is you are exempt from luggage fees because os status, card membership, etc.

I am always very thankful when @chengkp75posts on any subject! I learn a lot from @chengkp75’s experience!!

Currently onboard, and agree with @Moby Jones’s review about the overall quality. Our sunset Sky suite on Deck 9 has mercifully been very quiet. I am very much enjoying this cruise, but have the same observations about the cutbacks. Plus, they have once again removed the 4-oz filet from the Luminae menu, event though it was available on Ascent last month.

Currently on the Beyond. It is $17 and included in the PDP.

This week on Beyond, I just found the Lip Balm in the bathroom last night!

My DH and I have used the service many times in the past. As far as I know, it JUST opened up to the E-class ships. (They did not offer it on the Ascent last month.) I love it, because we aren’t doing the ‘terminal shuffle’ followed by the ‘airport shuffle’. It is so easy and convenient, IMHO.

We paid for our 14 y.o. twin grandkids to go. They said the lines were very long. They only went on or two slides when yet another ship pulled in and the lines were only going to get longer. Since you can’t control the crowds, my DH and I are not planning to go.
