there are a few travel websites you can do mock bookings to see if ample cabins are left. At least it gives an idea of the capacity within a couple of weeks prior to sailing.

How full is the ship? That is a big downer that you could not get reservations for the shows as soon as you boarded. It seems that is how it will always be though with the limited capacity of the show venues. That has to be a let down for sure. Maybe you can try the stand by line.

Maybe some day we will see most all the cruise lines go with no separate charge for gratuities as on Virgin.

We had no problem calling and choosing our own deck/cabin after booking. Only waited a minute for agent. So nice and efficient.

Oh fun times! It's just the 2 of us for the Jan. cruise. BTW, looks like you are in a central terrace balcony. We will be on deck 11 in a Central terrace balcony. So, on a 8 night cruise we can book more than 1 time at the same restaurant? I wonder why you can't book the Wake until onboard. Odd but okay....and I just read a review on the SL and the OP said there is no forward view on the ship other than richards rooftop? Taking notes for our January sailing thanks 🙂

Agree, we just did the Magic and it was crowded and so many people complained about the stairs to nowhere LOL. We've been on all 3 Dreams ships and are our least favorite. It's good most lines have enough to choose from that suits us best! The more cruises we do the more I like the smaller ships.

Spirit class for the layout and size. Having the pool in the serenity area is a plus. It seems to be a favorite for many crew members ( We always ask the crew what ship they prefer) Dining room, too is great on Spirit class ships.

How many days in advance can you book dining prior to sailing?

We received a automated call yesterday for our cruise departing this Saturday and it basically said arrive at your assigned boarding time and that if you arrive earlier you will be turned away and asked to return at the time assigned. Whether or not it will be enforced we will see. It's out of Norfolk and from what we experienced 3 years ago there was nothing but a circus. Hopefully these automated calls will prompt those to come at their assigned time.

We do have an interior and it shows options for a bid and it's listed as a spa Club balcony suite and another for a Club balcony suite but they do say thermo access. Not sure why NCL calls it a suite when it's really not, cabin shows it is 249 sq. ft so a little larger than a regular balcony and the bathroom is larger but we'll probably do a low ball bid. Hoping our bid for the regular balcony will be accepted. The good thing we already have 2 free specialty meals for Platinum and then one for the free at sea for the interior.

I am not familiar with freebies, etc., on the suites but I thought the upgrade offer for a suite and especially the spa and or spa club balcony suite was nice with the complimentary thermo suite access and the larger bathroom. Nice to have the opportunity of bid on these anyhow from a current interior cabin.

We received our offer to bid and we are currently booked in an inside and have offers to bid a OV up to a spa club balcony suite.
