  1. Thank you for your review, we'll be on Adventure in 8 weeks. I appreciate you posting the Cruise Compasses!
  2. We're a few weeks out from Check in and I have a Linked Reservation with my daughter and son-in-law. I'll be up at midnight but they won't be due to work schedules. Can I check in for both reservations on the App because we're linked? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the info! Looks like this will be the place for us on our stop there in June.
  4. Thank you for all the replies. I'm sure if they invite us we will check them out. I was more curious if they were still doing them. I know they have "Excursions" that you pay for that are probably more in-depth though.
  5. My family and I are staying in a Grand Suite for the first time on Adventure OTS and noticed that in the Suite Perks they list Bridge, Galley and Backstage Tours. Do they offer these tours for Suite guests? If so, can anyone tell me about them? Thanks.
  6. I used this exact one on my last 2 cruises with no issues. It was in my checked baggage though.
  7. Also, never go by the name of the sale for example, %off, BOGO 50% off, etc. I've noticed that the base price fluctuates from sale to sale.
  8. I was on Mariner OTS last June for a 8 night Southern and we paid $74.99 pp/pd. I'm booked on Adventure this June for a 8 night Eastern and we paid $69.99 pp/pd. Personally I'd buy at that price to lock it in and keep checking. It might go down but they typically go up as you get closer to the cruise. If it goes on sale for less money you just cancel and re-buy at the cheaper cost.
  9. Thanks for the great review and pics. We're looking forward to our 8 night on Adventure in June.
  10. After reading all the positive reviews about Gone Caribe I booked an excursion with them. We were in Curacao on June 26th and met up with Joseph at Starbucks to get our tour started. We were really happy that we finally made it because before we left there were a couple tropical storms in the area and the night before we had a woman fall overboard but she was rescued and we made it to Curacao on time! We left Starbucks and drove about a half hour to Shete Boka National Park. We saw water crashing at Boka Pistol and a cave that the water comes into, while driving there Joseph gave us the history of the island and was super nice and informative. Next stop was Playa Piskado which was a small beach where local fisherman used to clean their daily catch and this is why the turtles come here. We snorkeled with turtles for over an hour, it was awesome. Crystal clear waters, tons of fish and lots of turtles swiming by. It was my kids favorite part. There is a place to grab snacks and drinks and a couple local women had souvenir stands there as well. Next stop was a small beautiful beach where you could cliff jump or grab a couple lounge chairs and hang out on the beach or go swimming. We did swim and snorkel here but this isn't a great place to snorkel because theres not much coral or structure for the fish to hang around. The beach was beautiful though, calm and crystal clear. It was called Playa Kenepa Grandi. There was also a place for food and drinks here too. The entire tour was around 6 1/2 to 7 hours from pick up to drop off. Next time we're in Curacao we'll definitly book with them again but I would swap out the National park for more time at the beach or to use that time to stroll around town. Joseph was one of the nicest people I've met and he really wants you to have a good time.
  11. My kids will be bummed out. We're going on Mariner in June. I wonder if they are removing it while she is in dry dock at the moment.
  12. Right now its Freedom for me. Loved Liberty back in '08 too. I think the Freedom Class of ships are the perfect size. Sailing on Mariner for the first time in June so we'll see if I have a new favorite then. I'd LOVE to see Royal make a few new ships in the Radiance and Vision Class!
  13. My package is still showing as booked. I bought early this morning for my 8 night cruise on Mariner this June. IF they do cancel and refund everyone I wonder if Royal does things like this to gauge how interested people are in this package only to re-evaluate and put on sale at a future date with an updated price.
  14. We bought it for our 8 night on Mariner for this June.
  15. You can actually keep track of the sales and cancel and repurchase it right online. No need to call them which would take up your time. It's very easy to do.
  16. It will include Bailey's. They don't list all the different brands that it includes. If a certain alcohol is more expensive that the alloted price per drink (which I think is $14 now) they will charge the difference. For example if you bought a drink that was $18 you would only pay the difference of $4. Although I have never had to do that with any drink I've ever ordered.
  17. My wife and I are not heavy drinkers. Not even close. When you consider all the drinks included (fresh squeezed juices, specialty coffees, soda, bottled water, alcohol, shakes from Johnny Rockets, etc) it is very easy to "break even". Not that I'm justifying the high price but it makes it easier to swallow (pun intended). Plus the added benefit of not having to worry about tracking how much you spent, if you should have another drink or not, feeling obligated to drink something that doesn't taste great because you just spent $14 on it, etc. It works for us. Just my .02. By the way we paid $75.99 pp/pd plus tip for our upcoming 8 night Southern in June on Mariner.
  18. I've heard you can still do this but you have to call Royal to make this happen. You can't do it from their website/cruise planner.
  19. With all the positive reviews we booked with them for our cruise in June. We're very excited! I'll post a review after our trip.
  20. Just booked them for our cruise in June!
  21. Good to know. I'm in contact with them at the moment and will most likely be booking a trip with them for June!
