  1. no mystery and you can collect the details form Guest Relations. the current split is as follows: Dining and Culinary staff: All cabins except suites: $10.81 Suites:$11.60 Housekeeping services (room attendants) Regular cabins: $5.19 Aqua/Concierge: $5.69 Suites: $5.31 Suite Service: $4.09 Other hotel services (e.g. laundry staff, cleaners) All cabins including suites: $2.00 All prices per person per day Bar staff and Somelliers are not included. When I can get to a scanner I will try and attach the sheet actually issued.
  2. Hi Ruth, we agree with you 100%. Bought our 100 at $22 are very happy with the OBC we get and will be even happier when the dividend is reintroduced. As we don't drink alcohol and don't need unlimited WiFi the Elite + benefits make a cruise on X at "Sail Only" rates practically "all inclusive" for us.
  3. constructive criticism should always be encouraged. We have done 5 cruises on X since the restart most recently Reflection Transatlantic had a great time on all of them.
  4. Internet is not included if you book Sail Only rates - unless of course you book suites. For any one who dose not drink alcohol and has no need of unlimited wifi the Elite+ perks are very valuable.
  5. on the day you must arrive and check in together
  6. this has at several q and a's on different ships . The answer is always the same - the paper is specially produced for use in the onboard vacuum system. No other paper should be used as it may create blockages.
  7. I never mentioned nasty comments that was an earlier poster.
  8. You, the previous poster and any one else with similar problems has my deepest sympathy. Regrettably the Crew are not mind readers and have no way of telling if you have or havent sanitised. However to me the solution is simple: 1) on E class be sure to use the sinks at the buffet entrance. 2) when no sinks are available stop at the hand gel station/person and in full view use your own hand gel.
  9. the point is you use it which is totally different to people who refuse.
  10. The point is everyone can say the same even if they haven't washed their hands. The crew has no way of telling so what is the problem in using the hand sanitizer again?
  11. Let's keep a sense of perspective. Norovirus has to be reported over a set %. Taking into account the total number of cruises there are very few reports hence the attention when there is. Ships crew live in much more cramped conditions than passengers and their meals are self serve buffet meals. The crew has very few cases of Norvo because they follow the health protocols - wash hands often and always before eating, after using toilets and numerous times in between. Crew who ignore these protocols do not have their contracts renewed.
  12. Must be a difference between English and American Fritters. English are served hot otherwise the outer covering of batter would taste horrible. As the Al Bacio has no "hot food' section serving fitters is impossible.
  13. true but there never has been fritters but there are still turnovers
  14. even if not more interesting (although I maintain they were as your current cruise has just 2 stops in the Canaries plus the never to be forgotten Kings Wharf which generates little or no interest) just having more stops usually results in more tour groups which in turn generates more Roll Activity.
  15. Al Bacio has apple turnovers every morning but only until 11.00.
  16. clearly this is a much better comparison than your 4 to 163 comparison. Also for many the Roll Call is a way to organise tours and I believe your 2023 cruise was much longer and included far more and also much more interesting stops than the 3 you are doing in 2024. our 2023 Reflection cruise got off to a slow start but picked up.
  17. unlimited hot and iced versions. Also from the Passport Bar and the casino bar - anywhere with an espresso machine but only Al Bacio has the full range.
  18. Not when the tide is high - the only access is via the ramp shown.
  19. How many pages did your 2023 cruise have in the January?
  20. With 4 nights in Honolulu we would recommend the Magic of Polynesia show - best magic we have seen. Just book for the show as the food is very poor.
  21. Because Celebrity, unlike Royal, decided not to reintroduce/support the M and M after Covid. Such a shame as without the M and M it makes organising/coordinating events much harder. That said our October TA on Reflection was active and our Slot Pull had 80 participants.
  22. sorry meant Post 42 i.e. my pics of the ramp. When we returned to the ship after midnight it was cold, wet, no cover and it took the crew around 10 minutes to get just one wheelchair up the ramp - no one could pass while a chair was on the ramp so you can imagine the frustration. While we waited our turn to be helped up my wife was "rescued from the rain" by one of the dancers who lent her his coat telling her "just to leave it at the top and Security would return it to him" - needless to say he got very wet. Not the way we planned to end our Golden Wedding celebration.
  23. shame as X had the solution way back in 2018 which worked well. X booked a conference centre where we checked in and left our main bags. We were the bused in small groups to the ship. What X can't control is the height /steepness of the gangway which depending on the tide can be horrendous. As you can see from the pics it's steep and with no cover - it was much steeper when we returned to the ship at midnight after a visit to a Tango Show - 3 crew members were needed to get just one wheelchair up the ramp.
  24. You can't remove part of the daily grats (we tried when we had an appalling cabin steward) and specify the split. For example if you reduced the grats by $5 per day this would be spread pro rata across everyone in the grats pool. Clearly removing all grats is unfair to the other crew members who are doing their jobs. If you did remove all grats it would be impossible to tip all the people who would have been included had you not done so e.g. laundry staff or, if have any time dining, each waiter/assistant waiter.
