  1. You're fine. Enjoy the trip with grandchildren. We're taking our granddaughter on the Navigator in July. She lives in Burbank and will be 11+ . She'll probably do her own packing before her parents check it. She's been cruising since she was 2 and spent Christmas break with her parents in Australia and New Zealand. Leaving her parents home on this trip.
  2. Some of the fees aren't foreign transaction fees but the fee the credit card companies routinely charge the seller which are now being passed onto the customer. Very frustrating. When a charity passes the fee, while I'm not thrilled but I deal with it. It's the other businesses who pass the fees along that annoy me.
  3. You'll be fine as long as they're not in bathing suits. Nice shorts or pants and nice shirts should be ok.
  4. Bought luggage tag holders years ago. Trim the extra off, write our name, slip them in the holders. Easy to attach before leaving the hotel for the port.
  5. Even in NA ports I've seen long lines for the people with no tags. Always try to avoid that. Before Royal up got a surprise upgrade. Called and they emailed the new tags. Printed as many as needed.
  6. You have lots of questions. I'll try to answer. Your muster station is on your set sail pass. When you board just ask for directions. The morning before you board click on the video on the app and watch. Continental breakfast is free. Anything else is $7.95. Pizza and roast beef sandwiches locations depend on your ship. Cost of restaurants varies. Sometimes discounts if booked in advance. Reservations I'm not sure about. Show reservations depend on ship and show. The rest of your questions I'm not sure about. We're D+ but I'm not a coffee drinker.
  7. I assume you're talking about the one in your cruise docs, on the last page, that are available online. I print out just that page, as many as I need. We put 2 tags on each checked bag.
  8. Cabins usually open about 1 pm, though sometimes later.
  9. We're booked on Odyssey April 2025. Booked it October 2023.
  10. My understanding is that currently mtd doesn’t officially start until 6:45.
  11. What we almost always do. Once during covid they put everyone in mtd. It worked, got the same table /waiter each night but we had to wait some nights. Much prefer traditional, late seating.
  12. Usually the NextCruise certificate tells you when you have to book by. This is usually 1 year from when you purchased it.
  13. There are tables for 10. Email dining@rccl.com, give them reservation numbers for all parties and explain what you want. Also have all the reservations linked. If you have a ta they can do it for you. If I'm wrong on the email address someone will correct me.
  14. Agree. Our tour guide took us there. A quick stop as it was not scheduled but because we had time the tour guide added it. I have good memories of the stop.
  15. The line for Bumper cars may look long but it does move. We love it.
  16. Understand. Just checking as there are a few places that don't change and in Europe some places haven't changed yet. So just checking that the time is what you think it is in each place.
  17. Concierge is there for a few hours in the morning and evening. Their hours are posted. No need to tip unless they do something special for you and then we do somat the end of the cruise. In the evening if we order drinks with vouchers will tip a dollar or so to bar waiters in the lounge or at a bar.
  18. Good! We stayed in Cocoa Beach, which is nearby and nice. I don't recall what's near the port but think there was a restaurant.
  19. Missed that. Was responding to Viking lounge, which is usually on an upper deck.
