  1. Thank you - for one thing I could not just take a photo of DW when she comes in from gardening 🙂 So need more preparation.
  2. Thank you for clarification. BTW for us this is not a cost saving measure, just that a single pizza is always enough for us when we go to Alfredos. ETA I could have missed your response due to the length of this post, Now when I responded to you I jump six pages to current last post. So hard to keep up with this topic, especially with so many diversions.
  3. One pizza is enough for the two of us, I was wondering if it would be recorded as one visit or two.
  4. No local tax bought in UK, Southampton. Actually our folio showed a $10 credit and referred to the Plus package. Never did understand the credit but did not enquire.
  5. Excellent, though to clarify, we will have the Plus package, so I am asking about that, two per person - is a visit or is it an order??? Normally we will go to Alfredos twice, maybe lunch on Sail Day and once for an easy dinner. Our upcoming cruise is 21 days, so probably more visits on that one.
  6. Thank you possum, initially I saw reference to High Tea, Dining etc. and thought you had to dine there.
  7. So what if one of us goes in and orders a pizza, then the other one joins them. Does the second person ordering nothing get charged for a visit? Just curious, not trying to game the system, though if a shared pizza was one visit we could go four times 🙂
  8. We share a pizza at Alfredos, so does that mean we are each charged a visit?
  9. Thank you I saw a picture but thought it was a restaurant.
  10. I think Celebrity tried this but reverted to package options.
  11. Thanks for all the replies. Easy for us to do self-test the day before we fly. We have 11 pm departure so will fly in on Sail Day.
  12. We are on Honolulu to Sydney Oct 2 2023. At a recent login I was asked to agree to notification about required Covid-19 test, 24 hours before boarding. Sel Test acceptable but must show negative result plus watch for time and photo ID. I thought we were past all this.
  13. I have seen 'Inckude all search items' before but not now. Found it, thanks, there is a difference between clicking on Profile Letter versus clicking on my name. The lists of post is many pages long.
  14. In my case, probably because I use a TA, it simply says Princess provides transfers --------- these can be arranged using your TA. No costs. I am sure I previously saw a cost for Honolulu. I previously thought Transfers were always $59 pp but the Honolulu was much less.
  15. Thanks Nency is there a bar in the hotel?.
  16. I don t see Manage My Posts, I see Manage Followed Content. I did see recent posts but it was just most recent ten or so.
  17. I had some great responses to a question about transfers Honolulu to Cruise Port. All my questions were answered but now I have forgotten them 😞 I find 'Search' gives too many answers, don't know how to search for multiple words. BTW how do you find Princess cost for transfers? I found them once but can't find them now. Princess site just says 'Travel Agent books these'
  18. I think there were early problems with the response time for the waiter when scanning Medallion, so cabin # worked better. I don't know if it is faster to input cabin number versus scanning Medalion. In my experience they would ask cabin# and then say "Mr. Edward?'. So, they are seeing ID after inputting cabin#.
  19. I think canned soda are NOT on the list.
  20. Pricing and location looks good - any experience with this hotel?
  21. Yes, it drops off and picks up in same location, a few blocks from the harbor area. Easy walk.
  22. Agreed, but we were using British Pounds, then Euro, then Pounds again and finally Euro again. So it was hard to juggle cash.
  23. I used a Schwab Debit card, and it too has 'No Foreign Transaction Fees' Most Banks charge an ATM fee for non-customers of that Bank and Schwab refunds those fees too. However, I used Schwab Debit in a small village in Scotland. There was a mobile Bank of Scotland there, but they did not allow withdrawals, so I had to use an ATM - it had a fee of more than $10 for a $60 withdrawal. Schwab refunded ATM fees but not the fee from the Scottish cash point ATM. I had no complaint about this, just pointing out that all 'ATM fees' are not International Transaction Fees or Bank fee for using their ATM.
  24. A further point is using the App onboard, although it is not useful to me, many people find that it works well onboard.
