Yesterday while waiting for the hotel shuttle we started chatting with someone who is on the Rotterdam too. Turns out she is a HAL PCC from South Carolina.

You are correct. Sometimes we would go to Total Wine to bring something onboard. Pre shutdown there was a BBQ place, Ernie’s, across the street and it was good with huge portions!

I found the same issue for March for our Eurodam cruise. About two weeks ago I noticed a price drop on last nights stay. I cancelled and rebooked saving about $90. We have the same hotel booked but will take another look after the new year. I’m thinking March time frame is spring break.

We are staying at the Four Point by Sheraton. We have stayed at this hotel for a number of years. At first it was a choice hotel, then private and now it’s a Marriot property. We like it more for location than anything else. We are mostly satisfied with the hotel but after yesterday I’ll be looking at other hotels. We are familiar enough with the area to go elsewhere. Price will ultimately decide it for us.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. It’s a very windy morning in Fort Lauderdale and I’m expecting a bumpy ride tonight which will translate into a good nights sleep. It should stay dry at least until we board the Rotterdam. Our shuttle is picking us up at 9:45. Herding cats can be challenging but shaking the Temptations brings them running. Last night we went across the street to Pollo Tropical and the guy taking the order gave me a senior discount. Didn’t ask age just gave it. I was happy to save a few dollars but ….. We passed on the free breakfast at the hotel, it didn’t seem appetizing but would have been ok if it was raining. We went to Joe’s Cafe instead and had a really good breakfast. Tonight we will have dinner at Tamarind. Thank you all for the Bon Voyages. I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good Afternoon, after our bumpy landing we couldn't depart the plane until customs came and escorted a passenger off the plane. The airport moved hotel shuttle pickup again and we followed the signs. The hotel shuttle drove past us about 30 minutes since we called. I called the hotel and they said we were in the wrong spot, so we went to where they said to go. After three more passes the driver said she could only pick us up in the original spot we went to. We complained at check in. After check in we went to LA Bamba for a nice lunch with some adult beverages. Went back to the room and we both napped for at least an hour. Thank you everyone for the safe journey thoughts.

Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. It was an early start to the day. DH thought I was crazy for insisting that we get up at 3 for our 7 am flight. Turns out I was right, the security line was the longest we have seen at Logan. It took over an hour to get past security. There was no time for a drop of coffee before the flight since we got to the gate 10 minutes before boarding started. The plane departed 25 minutes late but we are now in the air and coffee is in hand. I’m looking forward to @dfish recipes, I’d like to find new ways to add cabbage to the menu. Good Morning, thanks for the daily report. It’s been a very busy morning. The project that was supposed to go live tomorrow has been postponed. I checked in for tomorrow’s flight only to have the printer die while trying to print the boarding pass. A load of laundry was done to lighten the load when we get home. A few more meetings and then I shut work off. I hope everyone has a good day today. Zander when he was younger and innocent.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. It’s a very rainy day today, we are expecting over 2” of rain when it’s over this afternoon. Thankfully it isn’t snow! Today’s meal suggestion sounds really good to me, it does sound familiar. Over the weekend I rechecked my suitcase. It seems like there is more room than usual but I don’t think I missed anything. The food drive for pets reminds me to pack some treats for the cats of San Juan. While the work week will be short it will be very busy. I’m looking forward to the time out of the office. Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. Today’s temperatures should get into the 60’s before the cold front comes through and drops a lot of rain with strong winds. A Target run is in order this morning, just waiting for the email letting me know the order is ready for pickup. On the way home a Kohl’s stop is in order since we both have a 40% off coupon. Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today should be a mild day and tomorrow even warmer. Today’s meal suggestion sounds good to me and I’m curious about making it in a skillet. This weekend’s big task is to make the house look presentable for the pet sitter. A few spiders have been trying to replace the Halloween decorations that I removed. I tried to check pricing a little bit ago on our March cruise and it just kept spinning.

Good Morning Jacqui, could you please add us to the March 16, 2024 Eurodam 11 Day Eastern Caribbean Wayfarer? When we first booked this itinerary it was called Southern Wayfarer not sure why the name changed. The HAL website is not cooperating on checking the current name. We made final payment, confirmed the sitter and booked air this week so I think we are good to go. Thank you!
