Good. We had a table of 10 in the MDR and ate at Chops and Izumi too. Really enjoyed Izumi. Our MDR staff was really good, and we really enjoyed being able to eat with a larger group again.

I was never a fan of the beach. I always thought Columbus Cove was the nicest beach at Labadee.

Now you're just trying to get me worked up! 😉

I've done this before. If I have made a special request and they helped with it, definitely. I don't think that's any different than what I would do if it was all done in person.

for me the 2nd cruise does not show Labadee. It's just the ABC islands. I'd love to do Labadee twice. Especially if they still have the suite lunch.

We were on the fist sailing after startup. It was nice, in fact, it was one of the best cruises we have had in a while. I don't remember the name of either the concierge or the LA, but, they were both nice. The concierge was really active, stopping by every night and she was really flexible with the walk off. The bands did not impress me. In fact, I thought they were terrible. The cruise director and staff were also really active. Our was an 11 day cruise. We were supposed to do a B2B but the first leg got cancelled. I also thought they did a great job in the WJ. Tables were always clean and the staff was quick to offer assistance. Enjoy your cruise.

For us it's the first leg of a B2B. We're more excited about the other leg since it's going to the ABC islands.

I got that. FWIW, my wife and I were happier with the girl than my brother. He's what Steve Martin might classify as a Wild and Crazy guy! 😉

Oh it was him for sure. He ended up meeting someone and they spent a good deal of the rest of the cruise together.

My brother has gone to a couple. What I saw was an older demographic, primarily women. YMMV.

Perhaps. Royal typically won't deal with you if there is a TA involved. I'd take a screen shot though and send that to the TA. Perhaps that can help. Youi might also want to check to make sure the new price does not cost you anything, like OBC. My experience is that repricing the cruise can.

You know the common cold is contagious too. Why should my vacation get impacted because someone else was sick and chose to ignore it?

I'm playing it by ear, but generally I feel more comfortable wearing a mask in some situations. The airport strikes me as too risky to not wear a mask. Frankly I think even if Covid was gone I am going to mask up in some situations.

I booked two connecting cabins and one not connecting on Oasis this March. There was no difference in price.

The suite perks on Mariner are nothing to write home about. The room is the perk IMHO. That being said, the rooms are very nice and for me it's important to have some space to relax in.

The room is the perk. Seriously, there is a list of all the wonderful things that come with the room. I find them practically useless. Waking up in something other than a shoebox, priceless.

FWIW, we were just on Vision recently. The lounge is nice, but a little small. Concierge is also helpful, and she mingled with the guests almost every night. You'll enjoy it.

If another cruiser "organizes" something for the cruise, and they're going to be getting a benefit for doing so, they should disclose it up front. I don't begrudge the person who is doing the work some benefit, as long as all parties are aware.

I think it's unethical NOT to spell it out when the rules for the pull are defined.

I usually do a Caribbean cruise and I am now retired. However, when I was working and checked after the fact where my connections were from, they were always Miami. If I used our VPN, they showed the corporate home.

Again, VPN will handle the location issue (if it exists) as well.

FWIW, we had a 2BR GS on Harmony. Very nice and comfortable, especially for the two in the main bedroom. The balcony is really awesome. Tons of space and you can enter it from both the living room and the main bedroom. I'd gladly sacrifice the other cabin to have everyone in this.
