  1. Barrachina's is fun...especially if you can see the show. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjds6-etduFAxXphIkEHecgAEIQFnoECB8QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.barrachina.com%2F&usg=AOvVaw2KFR74T9FRUCRSCBEAuVYL&opi=89978449
  2. I have not seen flavored creamers in the suites. They do have (at times) these latte packets. If flavored creamer is important, I'd bring some. FWIW, I consider the Lavaza just wasted space. The coffee is terrible, and I usually do not use it. I do like what is in the lounge. My wife likes her instant and she askes for a kettle, as the Lavaza machine is too loud.
  3. I think Express is an SSL/VPN solution, and I have never had issues with them.
  4. I have friends who are going on... 80th Anniversary of D-Day Cruise: D-Day & The Bomber War | The National WWII Museum | New Orleans (nationalww2museum.org)
  5. Of course, if you have drink vouchers, you can use them AND/OR you can also get bottles during happy hour. (11 - 11 if you're on a ship with a CK)
  6. I suggest you bring everything you can think of and then some. If something isn't right, you now have a 15YO to take care of, who will not be going on the cruise. This very thing happened to my sister and I remember talking to a woman who had to leave half her family behind when her niece could not board. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but you should be aware that when things go wrong, they go WAY wrong.
  7. It's a nice ride over the mountains to get from Hilo to Kona, and you get a chance to see the Keck, and possibly even snow.
  8. I never said they weren't. I was addressing a specific comment about a Pin needing to use their vouchers in the lounge. The comment wasn't directed to you...
  9. My experience has been that if are staying in a full suite, and you order a drink while in CK (11 - 11) they just bring it to you and do not use a voucher. (something is clearly wrong with the comment attribution, but hopefully the person who asked the question will see this)
  10. No, I don't. Nor do I feel there's any need to state "the obvious." What I don't understand is why you do. Repeatedly. Nobody has suggested that Pinnacles who are also suite guests should be denied suite benefits. As for the "You", why get riled? You know you get the benefits. Perhaps the poster was unaware that "You" were staying in a suite. Perhaps they were using "You" to mean a group, Pinnacles. Do Pinnacles get bashed? Yes, do they deserve it, sometimes. Maybe we need to start bashing the Emeralds? Those sneaky so and so's snuck right in between Platinum and Diamonds. Who do they think they are? 😉
  11. You just responded to a 4 year old post.
  12. OK.....so you assume all Pinnacles sail in inside cabins??? A pinnacle sailing in a suite *IS* a suite guest. I don't understand why you refuse to accept that and continue to troll everyone about their assumptions.
  13. Harmony has Grease, and it's the word...
  14. Thanks for the comments. FWIW, I see the prices are higher at NCL too. I happen to have a similar cruise booked on Royal, and the NCL cost is ~$200.00 per day more.
  15. Most Caribbean cruises don't care. My wife did it once. No problem.
  16. Personally I find the coffee awful. The machine in the lounges has a decent cup though. Wife brings instant, and prefers that.
  17. Thanks...that's helpful. That's good to know. Thanks for the link too.
  18. I'd agree. I feel like Royal has ignored the suite guests for too long, and it's annoying to pay a premium price knowing this.
  19. Looking forward to trying them both out. I was playing with the NCL app yesterday. I think I like it better, although I was very confused by the restaurant pricing, when trying to understand what might be covered as part of the free dinners. (I think we get 2 or 3 now) I think once I understand it better I am likely to upgrade that package.
  20. Oh I agree completely. It's interesting to me that now that we have jumped ship, so to speak, the wife if more open to trying others. MSC being one of them. I think Yacht Club will be happening. TA said she doesn't do MSC currently, they had a lot of complaints in the past. They may pick them up again though, as things have gotten better.
  21. We'll that's nice to hear. they have two categories of rooms of this type, and since the larger balcony was just a little more, I figured it was a no brainer to get it.
  22. Will do. So far I'm just trying to figure what is different. For example, their included internet is 300 minutes per person. That's pretty lame considering what they charge for these rooms.
  23. I know I eat fast, but isn't 3 hours enough time for you to finish your meal *and* grab a snack in the lounge?
