  1. Thank you! We haven't had the luck of finding a good TA but I will keep trying. We tend to wait for a brochure by Oceania and then we would contact a TA. Never got any of the "silent sales" : (
  2. I would love to find out where you found these deals. If possible, please email me at anitssylee dot gmail. Thank you.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I suppose we will find out how that works for our next cruise in April. It sounds like we will have to bring our own coffee / water mugs.
  4. Are there no bottled water anymore? We used to take some with us on excursions.
  5. Question: I had faxed in the shareholder benefit request before I found out about this change. Do you think the fax will start work or should I re-submit using the app? Anita
  6. Hi, can you tell me how much does it cost to upgrade the drink package? And, do both people of the same cabjn have to upgrade, or can just one person upgrade? Thanks.
  7. A question for all experienced cruisers in / out of the LA World Cruise Center Berth 93, do you think a 12:45 pm departure flight is ok? I suppose to minimize the risks, we can carry our own luggage and go for early disembarkation. But can we order an Uber that can take us to LAX by, say, 10 am? We are flying back to Canada.
  8. Is it pretty certain which pier the Regatta will dock? I understand that there are more than 1 cruise terminals in LA. Thank you.
  9. Thanks for your response. I am disappointed to hear that because when we cruised on the Insignia years ago (before Covid) they used to have some selected dishes from Red Ginger and Jacques in the dining room each night.
  10. Do they serve some Red Ginger dishes in the GDR of the R class ships? We particularly like the sea bass dish.
  11. Just wondering, if we have made a reservation for 2, and now want to have some friends join us, can we ask for a larger table at the door, accepting that there may be a wait for the larger table?
  12. We are on the Sept 15 TransPacific and Sept 30 Best of Japan.
  13. We will be on the Milennium. Yes we have Anytime Dining but we can also make reservations on the app. I just wasn't sure if that is required or not. Also, some of our port are quite late and I don't want to rush back just to make the reserved dinner time.
  14. Hi, does anyone know what happens if we don't have a reservation and are on the Dining Anytime program? Do we just walk in and wait for a table? On the other hand, if we have made a reservation but did not make it in time, do we just lose our reservation and can do a walk in later? Thanks in advance.
  15. Classic package used to cover special coffee with alcohol up to $10. Has that changed?
  16. Does anyone know if it is walking distance from the Busan cruise terminal to the Busan metro subway station? Thanks.
  17. Hi, thanks for your posts. I am following with interest in preparation for a similar cruise in September. One question please if you could help: you mentioned "unless you chose to leave the tour and take the shuttle bus back to the ship". I know you did not take the shuttle but do you have more information about it? Thank you!
  18. Thanks for the responses. I wonder if anyone who recently cruised can confirm if the alcoholic coffee drinks at Al Bacio are covered in the Classic drink package, i.e. up to $10 and pay the difference + gratuity for higher price drinks. When we sailed pre-covid and had a classic drink package, most of those drinks were covered. Things may have changed : (
  19. Does anyone know how much are the alcohol coffee drinks at Cafe al Bacio? Years ago when we last sailed with Celebrity, they were under $10.
  20. A related question to ask which can contribute to the calculation on whether a drink package is worth it is: What are the occasions and venues on the ship that offer free drinks? For example, Captain's Club welcome party, Platinum and Elite welcome party? How many times do these occur (does it depend on the length of the cruise)? Secondly, one can order the special drinks at the P&E lounge during happy hours on most days, at a discounted price ($8 / drink was the latest I heard). Lastly, each person can bring one bottle of wine at time of embarkation to enjoy in the cabin. I think these factors all can contribute to the calculation of whether or not to go for a drink package. IMHO.
  21. Stunning pictures! What type of transportation did you use to go the Mendenhall Glacier? Did you join a tour or go by yourself?
  22. Where is the World Class Bar? I can't seem to find it in the Millennium deck plan
  23. Maybe we can get away with ordering just a bit of food, to go with a couple of drinks? 😅 I have to agree that the drinks look very appealing.
  24. Hi, just wondering - are the drinks at Sushi on 5 covered by the drink package? Thanks.
