  1. Probably the smallest size for revolutionary features is Edge class size. As far as Celebrity replacing Millennium class they are with Edge class.
  2. I would suggest trying to get a group together to share a taxi. Also inquire at guest services. Cruise staff or officers might be interested. FYI that time of year is whale watching season.
  3. For 1-4 it would be For a 1- to 4-passenger taxi: $7.90 USD for the first mile, $2.75 USD for each additional mile. It is metered. You need cash. Plus tip about 15% If you want to use a credit card you can use the Hitch Bermuda app. Using the app is about 15% more.
  4. Taxi rates are regulated. There is a rate for 1-4 in the taxi and a higher rate for 5-7. There is a surcharge for Sunday and Holidays. 25% if you have 1-4 and 50% if you have 5-7. Those are the current rates. There are proposals to raise the fare. What date are you planning to golf?
  5. If you are bringing your own clubs a taxi. If you are renting clubs there a taxi but you could take the #7 bus.
  6. People tried to explain that those working in the terminal don’t work for the cruise lines on that thread that got deleted about a complaint but that didn’t seem to get through.
  7. Since they claim not have a passport either they won't be going to Europe. Only closed loop cruises if they are not joking. That said it is getting harder and harder to be on a cruise ship without a smartphone. However that is another discussion.
  8. You would have her rely on a cusomer service rep? Well known for fuzzy answers. While some states allow THC for medical use THC is illegal at the federal level even for medical use. It is listed as a schedule 1 narcotic with no medical use. Even is the US changed it's designation there are the regulations of every port which are likely the same. No reason to bother calling Celebrity the law is clear.
  9. That’s Elon Musk time. Add 2 to 3 years. They still have to get regulatory approval and launch satellites with bigger antennas.
  10. I have seen them onboard when docked in Bermuda. Some other ports do the same. In Bermuda they will take them to a magistrate and if a fine is paid then no jail time. Pleading ignorance and asking for forgiveness will probably get the fine reduced from $15,000 to $7,000. I am going by figures published in their local Royal Gazette. I don’t know if Celebrity lets the stay onboard. It really is dumb to bring a prohibited drug on a cruise ship. There was a recent case of a Carnival passenger caught with CBD gummy’s. It didn’t end well. OP’s sister can find some alternative med.
  11. Those are used at some ports. They bring them on the ship. There is some queston whether the dogs can detect a marijuana derived drug in capsules. It may depend on the dog. Also there are often false positives so even if the dog does not detect MJ it might accidentally catch it. I would advise tthat they ftalk to their doctor and an alternative med.
  12. Your home address should be entered for WiFi calling. Verizon’s network can determine you are not at home. In your case out to sea if you call 911. You should enable it WiFi calling at home to not run into issues.
  13. Sorry but the webinar had to be watched by December 27. I checked the link and confirmed it is no longer available.
  14. Do you really think Celebrity drops people from Captains Club emails because they received a complaint email? You didn’t get the email because either the email got lost or because Celebrity’s IT dropped your email address because of their notorious incompetence. If you read the thread on Cruise Critic about the Captain’s Club Power Up points lots of people don’t get those emails. Many read that thread and have get a heads up from the thread so they can get the points.
  15. I figured it was a joke only because I have their posts before but really people should use emoji when doing that. 🙃
  16. LOL. My states renewal period is 8 years and the fee is $33. And that is for a Real ID license. Certainly a lot less than a passport renewal.
  17. Just a heads up if have your phone in Airplane mode with wifi on and buy a wifi package you can do WiFi calling where you won't get charged for calls. Wifi calling does need to be enabled ahead of time.
  18. Those ships have something for everyone not just families. Alot of glitzy venuses and places to drink and have fun and they stay open late. Way after my bedtime..... You said Royal Caribbean was what you could afford. The reason might be because the larger ships mean more profit per passenger. I have to say though that I having cruised on both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean and had a wide range of fares I did not think there was much difference in the cruise fares.
  19. About once or twice a year a year the media reports about someone who had issues. Last one I recall about took their passport with them off the ship and got pickpocketed. I do have sympathy for them because they were follwing advice to always carry their passport. They unfortunately told the ship who put them off. They should have waited until the end to tell the ship.
  20. There have been a number of cases where couples were caught trafficking children from Africa and the Philippines to work as slave labor or nannies. I don’t know that any took their victims on a cruise but they did travel with them so it is possible.
  21. I suspect you are right since they already have 3 on order by I think 2027. Financially it would not make sense to stop at 3 to pay off. I doubt that any Project Discovery ships if they happen will be smaller than Quantum class. More likely they will be of similar size to Quantum class but use the alternative fuel.
  22. When people grow up, when they have no kids and when they retire it is time to move on from Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean is a family oriented brand. Celebrity is a good first move up. That is probably why the Royal Caribbean Group gives a status match.
