  1. I care not if they port anywhere. I finally get to cruise again without restrictions!
  2. So excited. We are on the road back to actual normal instead of the new normal. A year from now Covid will be treated more like a Noro outbreak.
  3. Same here and morning breakfast on the balcony was an every day thing for us on the cruise. WE already lamented that so many great menu items had been removed. Room service by phone was really hard the last time I tried it and took more than an hour to get delivered.
  4. Just read this article and I think this may be the straw that breaks the camels back for me. So many cutbacks over the years and I know that most people here are rabid about cruising and will not stop over these changes, but I think this is it for me. Several of my favorite activities on the ship are gone now. Sea day afternoon tea, Midnight Chocolate Buffet, Quest, a real breakfast on my balcony. A good late night meal. Just too much of the experience eroded at this point combined with an amazing experience we had this year at XCaret.
  5. This would be fine with us. We have cruised so often now that we hardly ever get off in the ports anymore and when we do we only walk around for twenty minutes and get back on. We cruise for the ships and I would be happy to stay onboard.
  6. Fort Lauderdale and I do not mind testing as long as I can cruise without the vaccine.
  7. No Mattress is ever too soft for me. If I laid down and sunk out of sight, I would be happy. Too hard now, that bothers me.
  8. My guess is we do not get FTTF back until testing and vaccine requirements are dropped or at least greatly lessened. FTTF just adds extra work for the port crew already struggling to keep up with the new process. Look at the lines that keep happening in Galveston.
  9. I just got booked my first Princess cruise for November, no vaccine required. Already approved to sail. Carnival better jump on the wagon and get some of this money.
  10. Yes, my cruise is leaving from Fort Lauderdale.
  11. I am sorry for all the people worried about us unvaccinated, but I am so happy they are reducing restrictions. I just got approved to sail on my first Princess cruise. Guess they had not yet hit their 10 percent. Fourteen Carnival cruises and two RCCL cruises so far, but my first Princess. Cheaper than Carnival same week, which is strange.
  12. Hi everyone, I have been reading the rate fine print and I no longer see anything fully refundable if canceled prior to 90 days. Is that the case now?
