  1. According to the Bar ship schedule the Sun is in port on June 17th, but nothing in July. on the Kotor ship schedule, the Sun will be there on July 8th, July 29th, August 19, and September 9th.
  2. Thanks and I hope you can take a longer cruise in the future. I can, only because I'm retired.
  3. I was a joke. It was from the movie Fletch.
  4. Except when you have a package. When you add them, even with the Premier package for both parties, it wants to change you $156.
  5. Yes they are. We had the opposite. Had a couple that seemed delightful on the cruise that were part of a group we were traveling with. Then invited them to share a condo with us in Europe on a land trip. OMG, 😱
  6. I got Mr. Underhills Medallion. He is wondering how he hit his 25 drink limit so fast on his Package and why was he charged for a bottle of Dom! 🤣 oh and his AMEX # is.... 😆
  7. It was October 2011. Our CC group was called The Red Hot Rubies. It was one of our favorite cruises! So, it looks like we will be on another one together, God willing!
  8. Our November Regal cruise is now $350 higher pp than what we booked at.
  9. 27 days is long time but we missed doing our 50th anniversary cruise due to Covid and this will be our 55th anniversary. The longest cruise we had been on previously was an 18 day Venice to Ft. Lauderdale TA on the Ruby for our 40th anniversary.
  10. On the 27 day, not sold out, but does show sold out for the 15 day TA portion. Makes sense they are pushing the longer sailing.
  11. We booked this just last week as part of a back to back. Now the TA part is showing sold. Probably pulled it for pricing adjustments?
  12. My wife and I both require the use of Mobility Scooters. Is the city center of Gdansk accessible? If it is, then the next issue is getting there from Gydnia. We cannot do the ships bus tours unless they have a wheelchair ramp, because my wife can't manage steps over a few inches because she can't bend her left leg due to a stroke. She can manage getting into a small SUV, but not sure if we can find a taxi that is an SUV. Looks like the trains are accessible. So, I am thinking small SUV taxi to the train station, train to and from Gdansk, return to ship by same taxi. Does that make sense? We are in port from 8:00 until 6:00.
  13. Is it easy to board if you are in a wheelchair or mobility scooter? A mobility scooter is like a powered wheelchair, just with three or four small wheels, handlebars and not as heavy. Looks like they can be used on the bike lanes as well.
  14. Thank you so much! Exactly what I needed to know.
  15. We are doing a back to back for our 55th Anniversary, but we don't have to switch cabins. The 1st one we booked is a 12 night Baltic cruise Copenhagen-Copenhagen. A few days later we decided that for what the cost was for business class air RT, we could do the following 15 day TA cruise Copenhagen to Boston for less by using a few airmiles for the flight to CPH and cruising back home. We were fortunate to get the same accessible balcony staterooms for both legs. I wonder what the procedure will be in Copenhagen or whether we should have Princess merge the two bookings? They sell it split up as well as the longer 27 day sailing.
  16. I don't know why this has to be so difficult. We are traveling with another couple and all have Premier Package. We have booked two evenings in the Crown Grill individually per couple, because no matter how hard we try, we cannot manage to get a table for the four of us without it charging $156 for each night. Is there a trick that I am missing?
  17. Gibraltar is under Europe and then Other Mediterranean Ports. We hired a private driver when we were there. Drove us to the top of the Rock. Saw the Barbary Apes, St Michaels Cave. Saw a plane landing at the Gibraltar Airport where the runway is on a road between Gibraltar and Spain that is blocked off while a plane is landing, and then a tour of the town.
  18. I know this varies, especially with Covid. The reason I ask is because we will be sailing on the Regal this November. The ships inaugural sailing was May 2014 with no refurbishment showing on the website. The Royal on the other hand was built in 2013 and refurbished in 2018. Can a ship really go over 10 years without being refurbished?
  19. It was casual and no the staff wouldn't let me in. So I went back to my stateroom and added my ruffled shirt and bow tie to make it formal. 🤣
  20. Like the Rockwell tune. I always feel like somebody's watching me 🤪
  21. Hoping the Stars make it to the Stanley Cup finals. Game 5 tonight. The Mavs made it to the NBA finals last night. Wish we were on the cruise to watch both!
  22. Me either. That is why you get insurance!
