Maryann, Happy Birthday to your twin daughters. What a great birthday present Owen got! I got my driver's license when I was an adult after I moved to the suburbs. Not as exciting as when one gets it at a young age.

Alright! Our numbers grow. Now we have 5 posters in here who live in the Dallas area.

Can you let us know where in TX you are? Drink plenty of water. I would get one of those misters I've seen on Amazon. There were days I had my car heater on in the morning and the AC on in the afternoon.

It's going to hit 94 today. AND we have tons of stuff to do today in the heat. Up to 54% humidity. Better sweat than freeze, I always say. @dani negreanu Sorry you had problems on your way home but at least you're safe and can now hopefully relax and relive all the wonderful memories you both made.

Thank you all for your birthday wishes. I have added a thanks to all of your posts. Special heads up to @dani negreanuDani for sending me birthday wishes in Hebrew and @Ocean Boy OB for that fabulous Kraken Kolada. We had a wonderful evening yesterday. When we entered the restaurant, I was surprised to see 4 additional friends who were joining us. A birthday surprise my other friends kept from me. We haven't seen them in approx. 4 years so we had lots to catch up on. After 2 glasses of Moscato and 2 1/2 hours of the best time, we all decided we couldn't say goodbye so we wound up at a friend's house to continue our fun. Onward Tuesday to our daughter and grands! Doesn't get much better than that. Loving all of the Hawaii pictures! Please keep them coming.

Today is my birthday. My birthday wish is for everyone in my world to have the best health, and the most wonderful moments in your lives. We're going out for an early dinner with a bunch of our friends and although I don't usually drink adult beverages much, I am going to make an exception later today!

Total deliciousness. 😋 Thanks for asking. We're still in sunny, beautiful TX (81 today) and are leaving on May 9 for cool, rainy NJ. Weather doesn't much matter since all we want to do is hug our "babies".

There is talk of yet another new terminal to be built in Galveston for MSC to homeport there in 2025.

I have no interest in the Cowboys but the complex has great restaurants, parks, etc.

Did the Rangers play today? Not the same Rangers that HB4 saw today. 😉 Have you been to The Star complex in Frisco, Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters? It's where the Cowboys practice. We've been to quite a few restaurants. Just a small note of info. The AT&T stadium where the Cowboys play, seats over 80,000. Over 100,000 with standing room. That has to be one major traffic jam at the end of a game.

Today is a t-shirt and flip flop day. 80 and sunny. Only thing on our agenda is a Costco run and a stop at Braum's for ice cream. Love these sunny lazy days. Wishing sunny happy days to everyone. Create your own sunshine if you have cloudy skies!

When the time comes, make a list of all your and your wife's doctors and drugs. We had an independent Medicare agent, not affiliated with any company, come to our house and do the research and came up with the best cost effective plan that included all of our doctors and drugs. I would refer her to you but honestly, we didn't much care for her. Cold personality. I did some research on my own and came up with the one company she suggested. Will your wife's company allow her to continue with company insurance when she retires? It's good to do some research on your own, since some Agents do not give you information on all available plans. Know the difference between HMO and PPO Advantage plans. When the time comes, good luck!

We took a Disney cruise 31 years ago when our daughter was 5. 4 days on the ship and 3 days at Disney World. Park admission was already included with the cruise tickets, but I could not believe how expensive one ticket was...$39 !!! Those were the days!

Wishes, prayers and hope for better days to come! Most of the costs from providers detailed in my Medicare Statements are always much higher than what was approved. I'm glad they accept what Medicare paid and cannot bill me for the difference. On a totally different note, I just finished watching James Corden's last late late show on you tube. He'll be leaving CA to go back to the UK. He said he wants to be able to call his dad and ask him if he's free for lunch. It's all about family, he said. I so loved that.
