  1. My previous Faraday cage/enclosure was made with copper cladded pieces of wood that could be assembled and taken apart.
  2. I am sorry and do apologize - You are correct -- damn -- it's not that early and I have not had too much to drink. I blame old age and bad eyesight. I just realized what happened. I was on the Celebrity board and received a notification that someone had replied to a mess and when I clicked on it, I was brought to the message which. was on RCL's board. Did not realize it until you said something.
  3. Nothing. When that happened to me the cruises (there were two) showed 0 points and eventually disappeared.
  4. You guys do realize this is the Celebrity Board not Royal Caribbean --
  5. Unless you got the one account, multiple device plan. In that case all account must use the same username and password (PIN)
  6. Once the account is created if I remember correctly only the userID and password were required. You could log in with your kids information, create an account with any given username and password, and then give those to your Roll Call buddy, should you really want to take a chance.
  7. I am well aware that mine is illegal. I have only used it for research and in controlled environments, e.g. faraday cage. Bluetooth operates at 2.4Ghz the same as WiFi however, Bluetooth uses something akin to spread spectrum and has built in protection methods against jamming. There are ways to effectively play my signal instead of theirs thereby having their speakers play what I want them to play and with the right equipement I am pretty sure I could prevent the speakers from receiving any signal from any device. However, that being said, it's a nice thought. Even with two free bags, up to 70-lbs each on United, I'll be damned if I want to spend my cruise dealing with someone else's loud music. I'll just keep complaining to Guest Services and any officers I meet onboard.
  8. Good to know. Now if they would only fix the website to make that clearer. No, I was not trying to be funny. Yes, I honestly believed that specialty coffee's with Alcohol were not included in the classic package as they were not previous. Last time we had the classic package, I was charged to add Bailey's to my coffee americano. I still stand behind my statement that there are three, not two, different drink packages. Two with alcohol and one with no alcohol.
  9. Breakfast and lunch t-shirts, except maybe sleeveless, are permitted. For dinner I have seen people turned away, pre COVID, if not wearing a collared shirt and long pants.
  10. Boarding begins when the ship is cleared to accept new passengers by Customs and Border Protection. The first to board will be those passengers who are on a B2B, followed by Suites and Zenith's. We always plan to arrive around 1030 - 1100 and are usually able to board immediately after checking in.
  11. That sounds like fun, except the choice of the song. I'd be signing me some "Whiskey for my me, Beer for my horses" with emphasis on "'Cause justice is the one thing you should always find"
  12. I could not get out of my own way with that. Just like with BetaMax vs VHS. BetaMax was a superior technology -- VHS obviously won that battle. Fortunately my momma taught me not to cry over spilt milk
  13. I understand from a stockholder point of view but a fellow named Peter Lynch one wrote something along the lines of investing in what you know and what you use so that's what I tend to do with regard to individual stocks. I do not see Carnival as a good buy at this point. I would have been wise to buy more Royal Caribbean than I did and/or added Carnival last summer but alas I did not. My loss. Not the first time. I had a choice of buying Microsoft when Microsoft first released Windows 3.1. I was fully convinced that OS/2 WARP was a superior operating system to Windows so I did not buy Microsoft. My loss - in a big way!
  14. Ah, these are discounted. For Free bag it's one for Elite and two for Elite +. Thank you for setting me straight. It makes more sense to me now.
  15. I find them rather mild for me. I love a good vindaloo and to be good in my mind it needs to be spicy. I would choose lamb vindaloo over butter chicken any time.
  16. One of the first meals, other than grits, that I taught my non-American wife to prepare was meatloaf. We not longer have it as often as we use too because we are trying to watch how much red meat we consume but I love it when she makes it.
  17. That would depend on the level and quality of service that I received. If nothing above and beyond, then there would be no additional tip. If the waiter went out of his way to hand any special request or did something good outside of the norm, then yes, I would give an additional tip.
  18. I could not agree with you more. We love every minute we can spend with our grandkids. My wife and I have had many a conversation over a home cooked meal about all the time and effort that goes into preparing it only for the meal to be consumed in 20-30 minutes at most. @grandgeezer Not necessarily a joke but it was certainly meant in jest.
  19. @fredflint I love that idea but my DW can think of nothing else but getting home.
  20. Hmmm. All this discussion makes me wonder if the radio frequency jammer I bought years ago for some research will work against BluTooth. Time to rebuild my faraday cage and test it out. It would be interesting to see folks reactions when their bluetooth speakers stop playing their music and they can't figure out why.
  21. Have not sailed Carnival since 2006. Not my demographic.
  22. RCL finished today at $75.35, up $1.38. I am pleased with all the shares I purchased last July. Those are up 175%. Just wish I had bought more. One year history: Last 6 months:
