Port taxes not refunded for missed port
Jimbo replied to RoyalC's topic in Royal Caribbean International
So all these extra port fees are thrown into a pot for all their ships? So I could actually be paying for some other ships short port fees? Because you can bet sometimes they collect to much port fees from you because more passengers got on the sailing then they first though they were going to get on that sailing? Are you understanding that? So how does that work? Hate to see or know how those port fees are figured out for the World Cruise 274 days and all those ports........ -
Port taxes not refunded for missed port

Guess a way a cruise lines could make more money is just when they first list a cruise for sale is to jam pack it with port stops everyday....................then after final payment then go into the itinerary and start chopping ports stops off it and don't refund any money back to anyone on that ship. Seems fair ? Kind of dealing with your Panama Canal reference right now, sad part is though Royal hasn't come to me and said we are going to give you a refund, because we chopped some port stops off your itinerary...............This is for a Cruise on Radiance of the Seas October 2023..........Guess they are still working on my refund huh? Also the ship is pretty much FULL all ready, so they should be able to refund some port charges for axed ports. But you know we won't see it happen. They have been messing with this ships itinerary since the day it was posted. Only thing I'm sure of it is we are going through the Canal, because it starts in San Diego and ends in Tampa.........where else we are going is anyones guess? -
Very first house I bought had that kind of system. In New Jersey they called them Wisconsin Mounds. No idea how they came up with that name, can google it and brings up lots of info on the system. Our mound was way at the back of the property and a pump system took the grey water out to the mound. I assume your well for water is at least 100ft or so from this mound?

If you do that he might be getting off the ship too on your final destination. Watch your tires when leaving the port.

Really? Corner him/her? Should the passenger pin him/her to the wall too?

World Series Game #3 I don't see any window to get this game in. Looks like a rain out to me. Cancellation would be an advantage for Houston since they are going with a real starter McCullers and the Phillies are probably just using this as a bullpen game. Houston would hate to use McCullers for like 2 innings and then a long rain delay where he can't continue pitching. Eagles play this Thursday, sure is good that, that the game is on the road in Houston because Game 5 would be Thursday now and parking would have been a nightmare in Philly.

On Allure currently. Some issues.

Never used the top marking gun, but used the bottom one for years and years. There was talk of the digital tags just before I retired from the Grocery Business. -
The illegal bat, actually the barrel of the bat is larger where the sweet spot is. Might have helped Pujols reach the 700 club...........He was only allowed to use that bat because he started to play before 2010 when then the bat was legal, he was grandfathered in. Why best behavior when the Astros weren't really penalized in 2017 or 2018? Plus they want to win the first one for Dusty Baker no matter what it takes. This was after the Phillies Comeback in Game #1 in Houston https://www.mlb.com/phillies/news/young-fan-soaks-in-phillies-world-series-game-1-comeback?partnerId=zh-20221031-742599-MLB-1-B&qid=100000046&utm_id=zh-20221031-742599-MLB-1-B&bt_ee=Ip%2F0WPzlAXY4m4cadHw%2F%2BPYNC3745dZR0BAw1N5tSZ2Qq4QaraJ%2F%2F0xE9g%2BTJyJp&bt_ts=1667243182728

Wish they would have checked his glove better,. mostly all they checked was his bare hand...............You are aware he switched gloves about half way through the game Saturday Night? Why does a pitcher have to do that in less it was broke...........He didn't field enough balls to wear out his glove did he? He was up to something that's for sure. Valdez is a starter, he won't pitch again until Game#7 if there is one.
