Morning all, John is working today but we should be going to Bluewater when he come home, I have vouchers to spend! Back to work yesterday and I normally work from home on a Friday but we have a new telephone system so I had to go in to learn it! We don’t have a physical phone anymore, it all works through our computers!

My sister lives in Worthing now but for many years lived in Hove. I sent her a photo of the view towards Hove, she replied ‘that looks familiar!’ 😊

I’m home now, thanks for all the birthday wishes. We went up the i360 tower in Brighton that is a pod that rises up a pole! It was good. Then we went to the marina for lunch before popping into my parents on the way home.

Morning all from soggy Sussex. It’s my birthday today and we stayed overnight in a nice hotel in Uckfield. Off to Brighton soon then back home. Hope we don’t get too wet!!

I’ve seen Jamie’s video - I would have been ok as we always do the buffet for breakfast! The queues seemed to be mostly for breakfast in the MDR.

Ooh that sounds very upmarket for Margate 😃 Must admit it’s not somewhere we go often! A friend of mine who grew up in London but now lives in Kent said they all went to Margate as children whereas all us locals seemed to go to Broadstairs!

Hello all, sorry I missed your birthday Brian, hope you had a good one. Lots of rain this week - very miserable! Our combined gas and electricity is £199 a month! Virtually doubled - although we are in credit by about £400! If we’re still in credit by the end of the winter I will be demanding they put it down!

Hello all, have booked a 4 night cruise to Amsterdam in June, won’t be so stressed about such a short cruise - I hope! Really looking forward to it. Haven’t cancelled the longer cruise in October yet but probably will!

I meant to add - I got an email about our cruise yesterday- ‘only 50 weeks to go’ - are they serious?! It will soon be time for your cruise it said 😂

Morning all, it was our grandson’s 4th birthday yesterday, where have those 4 years gone? We went over to them yesterday afternoon, they didn’t have a party as such as her family is big, so a series of gatherings! He was very excited and the first year he really understood what it was all about. They’re taking him to some sort of dinosaur show today which he’s bound to enjoy as he’s crazy about dinosaurs! In fact one of our presents to him was a dinosaur in a truck so he loved that.
