  1. Agreed, plus receiving no credit for the meal already paid for via the cruise fee- a triple whammy.
  2. Baseline, it offers one more HH venue on some nights and though not mentioned there may be some type of snacks. There is no reasoned way to critique until it is actually enacted and live.
  3. We decided to cancel our dining package based on the feedback and then just book speciality restaurants at full price at times we want to eat. We had our TA handle this in advance of our upcoming Jan ‘24 cruise to avoid the hassle of doing all this once onboard.
  4. I like that approach as it is very disingenuous of Celebrity to sell specialty restaurant packages in advance that do not allow you to actually book the restaurants until onboard and then inform you they are not available- bit of shell game.
  5. Traveling on the Beyond in January and purchased a special restaurant package. My understanding is upon boarding we can reserve the actual restaurants and times as we can’t do that in advance. My question whom actually does this; is there a specific desk setup to handle this or do we need to go to each individual restaurant we want to book.
  6. Yes, just as the Jayhawks were gobbled up in their lost yesterday.
  7. I order a turkey burger and it is always cooked to order.
  8. As many, we have Elite status so I can get Diet Coke at the daily Happy Hour from the bar and put them in the fridge that my cabin steward cleared out on my initial request. Never have to pay for keeping my own drinks in the fridge.
  9. I always ask the cabin stewart to clear out the mini fridge upon check in so I can fill it with my own drinks.
  10. You summed it up perfectly as I will not book Aqua class again until it is unbundled.
  11. Booked on the Beyond for this coming January. I thought the 4 main dining rooms are just open seating and you just show up whenever you like. I understand specific reservations are required for the specialty restaurants.
  12. In the brochure just received in the mail and even on line the only cruise pricing they show is Simply More pricing though I assume you can also book at a cruise only price w/o Simply More, correct?
  13. Did you use the Concierge lounge? Did your husband have any Covid symptoms while on the cruise?
  14. With the EU requiring Visas commencing in 2024 I assume that applies to cruise passengers that dock in those countries, correct?
  15. Are the sugar free cookies marked as such?
  16. Thanks for the insights; did you use the gym or do anything on the sports deck? Booked on the British Isles cruise in August and the ship looks beautiful.
  17. Looking for recommendations for better trip medical insurance as the coverage from what our TA presented did not have great medical coverage limits in light of Medicare not having International medical coverage and therefore solely dependent on the trip insurance in the event of a medical emergency.
  18. Probably some days light such as a parfait or oatmeal and other days probably an omelet or such.
  19. What are recommendations for a relatively fast breakfast venue if we have an early shore excursion? We will be on the Vista, which I realize has not sailed yet.
  20. We are traveling with 4 other couples (thereby 10 people in total) and wanted to know if the main dining room as well as the speciality restaurants have tables for 10.
  21. How about it you are actually using the pool or in the bathroom?
  22. Reviewing the deck plan of the Vista the lounge looks like a decent size but certainly not huge. As others have stated, it looks like a nice spot to grab a drink and snack and read the WSJ in the morning.
